Okay thats a good info for me, Most techs don't clean the split, as how I did it in the video. I have also seen such cases where the techs put water on the electric section of the split ac and put themselves in a difficult situation. How I clean is time consuming but at least is worth to do it.

Can you provide a name for the covering you used on the evaporator? A lot of AC repair guys in 3rd world countries especially where I am clean it this way however they to attached a large plastic Tarp instead of that cool covering u showed

you have to remember how to remove the cables in order and in color... because there is a possibility that if you reverse them the signals from the outdoor unit will not be read correctly and the air conditioner will not start. only this is the only and best way to clean...
