It's to do with the quote driven system that they use. Before trading an auction is run called an opening call, they enter orders but no automatic execution. Then there is a matching period, the continuous order book trading takes place. In the auction they can only enter a limit or market order hence the v shape to search the orders when the algorithm is run because these are the only 2 allowed before the open. One specifies size and price the other is just size but no price, the market order can only be used at opening and closing auction. Hence the move at the 4.00pm London fix.

@@rosariodipetta You're right! One day I got tricked up when I was trading EUR/NZD and was down by 70 pips. But because I had enough of a cushion in equity, I decided to ride it out and sure enough, the market reversed and I ultimately made a profit. Many times, the key to trading is not to panic, but be PATIENT. What goes around always comes back around sooner than you think, ESPECIALLY in manipulation scenarios.

If market manipulators comes in 8 no candle and people are pulling it up to high then what is the need for that manipulator to sell again when retailers are already taking his price to high. Isn't market manipulator getting profit from the trade being up by retail traders???

gr8 hardwork and effort u had put into do such research!! interested in knowing ur strategy.. is it a single strategy or book is of msny strategies to learn ? and y don't u make an EA or indicator alert of ur strategy???
@fractalflowpro6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! The current strategy being sold on the Strategy Store is a single strategy in the book format. However, soon it will become a video course and the price will be raised a little bit. On the other hand, if you purchase the strategy now, you will get the video course for free when it comes out (maybe two or three weeks in the future). As far as automating the strategy, you can do that in some parts of the strategy, but not in others. I intend to make a video explaining the issues with EAs. There is a lot of misinformation out there. Stay tuned!

So there are trillions dollars flowing through everyday forex market ,, So in this ,how many percentage is of retail traders ?
@fractalflowpro4 жыл бұрын
In the spot market I believe that retail traders have a large percentage. However, on the OTC market, which is much larger than spot, the institutions dominate.

If you wait for that candlestick to close before entering a long trade you wouldn't be stopped out. And since some forex pairs are manipulated, better avoid them.

As a retail trader, by looking at the higher timeframe, one would be able to avoid the manipulation. On the lower timeframe, you can easily become lost and manipulated into the wrong direction of the trend of the market.
@fractalflowpro4 жыл бұрын
Timeframes are relative, so you can become lost in the higher timeframe as well. In fact, by using multitimeframe analysis you definetely will become lost if you must find the context of the market.

@fractalflowpro4 жыл бұрын
You're missing the point of the video. The main issue here is the predictability of retail traders' behavior, and the fact they all place their orders at the same places. The "massive reversal" is also not the issue. The problem is that large traders can tip them over precisely because retail traders have an obvious way of placing orders. It doesn't matter how much retail traders are going to lose or win, so your suggestion doesn't make any sense. The focal point here is more on the entry rather than the stop order.
