I totally agree with your suggestion to write one's strategy on a laminated sheet. On the job, we call those "Pre Flight Checklists" and "Daily Standard Work". They really come in handy! It's so easy to forget and overlook the simplest and easiest tasks when your in the "heat of it".

You are right. Back testing is hectic and tbh as a beginner i did not really see the need for it as long as my trades were working. But i learnt my lesson the hard way. Back testing is very important. Thank you for this video.

Great vid, I’ve been a ForexSignals member for 1.5 years now, awesome team. I use Trading view for backtesting, just scroll and record manually. I look for a trend on the daily, mark it and zoom in on the 4H which is where I trade. I’ve done this a few times but never know how much testing to actually complete/when to stop?

It is not that boring. I much prefer backtesting to hanging on twitter, KZbin or reading news or mail. There are many things one can learn when backtesting. Currently I look into what usually happens at night. Is it safe leaving a trade that has reached 80 % of its target till next day?
