I have a horror story where nav mesh was building for hours because i forgot the nav mesh blockers

Another thing to note is that nav mesh doesn't like to build in tight/narrow spaces.typically anything smaller than the standard doorframe doesn't like to generate mesh.for vents use the crawl nav mesh and it should work.the nav points are really fun.For my Unggoy Sanctum I have the first in the middle,then have each team turn right(from their respective start points),go towards the enemy base,then back the other way to their home base.basically made a line down the middle,then to the sides,to the enemy base,then back home and repeat.gives your bots a nice flow through your map.As always good vid man!

One thing someone told me today is that the nav mesh won't build on player blockers either so if trying to make things flat or clamber edges it's best to use see through glass instead.

@@VidGamesPete luckily I haven't ran into that problem yet but I usually use those only on the top of my level.the sides I use nav cutters and soft/hard kill zones unless walls prevent them.my level event horizon is a good example of that.huge nav mesh but works fine and didnt have to use player blockers.good for spaceship levels.I think the mire is just buggy lol had some problems with nav mesh on that one but figures it out.

You could have mentioned to save a copy BEFORE showing how to build the Nav Mesh. I just lost 7 months of work! Yes. I should have watched the video fully before trying it. Clearly I'm a idiot.
