I know that "ugly" is just a subjective observation. A bi-colored ball helps the average bowler see the ball transition better - especially for us older bowlers with bi focal or transitional reading glasses. I am a "Motiv" bowler - love that they are made here in the USA (in my Michigan). I like the looks of the Motiv balls, but solid balls ARE harder to read the lanes front-to-back for me.

Love this ball. Finished a league with average over 210 for the first time with it. Maybe an unusual color combination, but I think it looks pretty good in person.

I think the ball rolls early more straight up because of the layout you used. I'm a left hander and I have my pin under, it allows me to throw more straight up

Not talking trash or insulting, because I have the same issue, but do you usually fall off a lot during league/tournament play? Or were these balls not drilled correctly or just bad day?

I have always stepped off quickly. Falling off is different. I do fall off some though. Just habit. Usually the ball is well off my hand. If you fall off while you're still releasing the ball that's not good

BowlerX.com I guess I am similar then. I used to clearly fall off during shots. But I do what you do sometimes and step right on shots after I release the ball. Trying to work on posting more at the line though.

Exactly!!! I have a couple of videos of my own. I just post whole games and title them "*insert ball here* (average bowler)." This way your average Joe can see from a non professional bowler's perspective!!

I thought the exact same thing about it's looks when I took it out of the box for the first time. Don't mind the color, I just don't like how the logos look like someone drew them on with Crayola marker. That bring said, when I took it out to the lanes the first time I was in love. Despite the controversial looks, definitely a great ball!

going that far left can work in league, the house I learned to bowl in was pretty well off and liked the expensive oil, I went to college in a small college town in AZ, and their bowling house was a crap hole that time forgot, I often wonder if civil war vets bowled there. All my balls were heavy oil balls, oh to top it off it was wood lanes to boot. One day as my former 194 average had gone down to 174. I decided I was going to bowl 300 that day, I had just gotten my big monster ball resurfaced, and buffed it out, so it was ready to roll. NO, I never got the 3, my endurance didn't last, I got 7 in a row, bowled a 267, and after that I couldn't keep lobbing it, but it did work going that far left, it was nothing but strikes.

@@cleswag2419 Sound like your using the same layout on every ball or just lack experience to the game, I've been bowling for 25+ years and if there's one company that DOESN'T use the same stuff over and over and reproduce the same motion its Motiv hands down. I have thrown every ball they made in the last 2 years and less than 10% of their equipment overlaps. look at hammer for instance the widow line has used the exact same core for almost 9 years. talk about repetition, right?? every company specializes in a specific motion and some people just do not understand the game fully. have you tried surface changes, polish, multipul layouts, and are you using a reputable PSO?

Yeah, the ball reaction of striking never gets old. ;) I mean, I guess on a house shot pretty much every ball from every company looks the exact same if you think about it. On non-house shots, you can definitely see the difference between all the cores and covers.
