Well you were extremely lucky then. I joined a guild on day one and got many friends and polished and motivated for them every day for 6 months before getting my first GB. I have 3 now but being virtually the last player on server to get those three almost nobody needs blueprints anymore so it will take me a couple of months or more to get near to leveling them up. I got a couple of hundred duplicate BP's so far.

Is it possible to move the Great Building once it was placed? I want to build one, but if I can't move it later, I'd have to wait so it doesn't get in the way of my expanding city.

It's taking me so long to find all the bp's for one gb. So far I have 7 out of 9. It takes ages, I don't know how other's manage to do it unless they spend all day polising and motivating others which I really cannot be bothered to do.

BIG problem with investing forge points in a friends building is that even though I came first in dozens of GB's and won lots of forge points and 3 blueprints each time and although I had only one empty slot left to go every single win gave me duplicates and every single 2 for 1 trade also failed by just sending the traded bp to an already filled spot. It got so frustrating that I either gave up all the time wasting and the 1000's of wasted forge points or smash my computer,

my favourite part is at 56 secinds in because she said she is going to get all the blueprints and goods but uses diomonds to get everything. at 56 secinds in look at the top right of the screen

Not being able to rotate buildings/pieces took it's toll on me. That's why I stopped playing this frustrating game, well that and Cities: Skylines.

You have hundreds of copies? Why? You can pretty much "control" the BPs you want to get by motivating/polishing just the buildings from that specific age or by helping build only those specific GBs. For example, I can help 140 people a day and I get one BP like every 35 people. There are some people with a lot of GBs on the forums, too that allow you to add them as a friend so you can help them build their GBs. I really don't think it is that hard.

Funny they make a video about Great Buildings yet they have made getting a GB virtually impossible to get without playing for years and years. They have the game set up so that the odds of getting a great building are astronomical, in 12 months of playing the game I am yet to get the 9 blueprints needed for a single "great building".. Yet for most of the great buildings I have needed just one blueprint for 8 buildings and it has been that way for about 6 months, the 2 for 1 trade ins are a joke.

Fact is the game owners are so greedy for your money that they have set up a system where it MAY be slightly possible to get one if you are one of the luckiest gamblers to ever live but it is also possible to play the game for another 100 years and there is not the slightest guarantee you'll ever get a single great building. This is a game for big coiners only, if you don't spend a few hundred dollars you will never get anywhere. Why won't the fools ever fix this ?

The game is ok but better not go to the forums, since you have no rights whatsoever there... either youre protesting or not, mods will simply delete or close the thread as they want (its a german game, so i guess its mods might have some Hitler mentality). Also, spend money on the game at your own risk. Many changes are made without any consideration towards most players oppinion.

In the end I just gave up after an entire year of getting useless duplicate blueprints and to even hope of winning enough diamonds to buy one of those last slots is to hope to divert the planet Jupiter by blowing my breath as hard as I can. The game makers are just greedy pigs, I doubt the game will be around in another 12 months unless the owners of the game revamp the entire Great Building rort. I think anyone with more than two buildings either paid diamonds for one, The game sucks.
