I like how the coconuts, placed on top of steel, test the blades. Nothing like smashing a coconut and then steel on steel contact to test the blade. The coconuts are useless.

No, even though I'm really sad for him it was the correct decision, the knife it was no longer structurally intact, no matter if it could still cut or not anymore and it was right to send him away. We aren't talking of kitchen knives here, those weapons must survive brutal treatments and all those smiths know it, nobody forced them to participate but once they are in they must produce something indestructible or near to that. I know it's cruel but those are the rules and once you accept then you must dance whatever music they choose for you.

I think that because of corona their not filming new episodes as frequently so they upload old episodes, this one is from season 3 ( so I assume this is before Doug & the kill test)

I realy do love this series. But without the kill test it is actually not as great. Not just that its the one that is the most important and most satisfying to watch, but withoutit there are only two tests which makes the choice of a winner so much harder and just generally worse. So if they dont bring it back, i think i wont watch it anymore because its boring :/
