The E Bay turbo and the valve train need a proper upgrade now. I know the valve train is strong but that’ll definitely help with peace of mind when your pushing for more power.

Thats sick! I made 714whp on a stock m52 with gaskets and studs, car was converted to obd1 cause when it was built in 05 the obd2 ecu hadn't been cracked yet. When It went fully built we used the electromotive tec 3 stand alone and that helped get to 1000whp. I love your car, always wanted to build an e30.🔥🔥🔥

​@@OfficialMenOfCulture All M52 in E36 in North America is iron. Had something to do with the sleved bores and the fuel they used at the time there not liking one another very much. Everywhere else in the world an M52 is aluminium, and not a favorite for boost for obvious reasons. So they beat us on the M52 game, but ey, they got no real M3's so. They got sooped up M50's and M52's. No real S50. They got 330i's and 332's with ///M badges.

Joel you are a mad man and awesome guy! I don't know what you did on the way home but I'm guessing (But I could very well be wrong of course lol) that because that car is so light and you've never had power like that in it, when you hit the g"Go Crazy Pedal" at 644hp and 622 or what ever that number was LOL the rear wheels spun up so fast and hard that they smoked the tires as if you were standing still doing a brake stand. So the tires were still smoking for a bit even though you were going somewhere around 60 mph when you hit it hard. At least that's what I'm really hoping for!

Time for a Garrett turbo, that poor sleeve bearing is just not going to spin fast enough to matter. Bigger valve springs and retainers so you don’t drop a valve. What did they set the limiters at?

Yo what differential are you running? I just did a manual swap and I’m looking for one with a good gearing like that since I plan on driving it daily and do a lot of highway driving. I really love the car crazy build man.

m50's really like the stock 318i manual diffs, I think they are 3.45 ratio, correct me if im wrong. They do rev high on the highway, like 4k at 70. A lot of people like the m3 3.23 diff, that one is like 3400 rpm at 70. There's also 2.93 328i diff that should be really good for highway at the cost of low end torque

If anyone has an answer to my question please do tell. So since the car was tuned on e65 does it mean Joel can only put in the exact amount of e+pump gas every time he refuels, or less e and more pump since it’s on a flex fuel setup up, but can’t put a higher E-to-pump gas concentration, for example e80, in since the car wasn’t tuned on that level? Or will the ecu automatically adjust for higher E levels?

the flex fuel is based off of a formula that given the amount of E content the car has. it uses that formula to decide how much more or less fuel to add. it’ll make the same power above e65 but below e65 it’ll start tapering off. if the tank has e20 then it’ll be a bit more power than 93 but not full power
