Robert probably wasn't getting sick from the rare asbestos, but he was probably inhaling to much coal dust. In HMB nuclear tech mod when mining coal the coal creates a small dust that when the player comes into contact with it adds to the sickness meter. the only way to avoid this is to craft a crude face protector from wool cloth, or you can make a gas mask.

Hey guys, what you found at 2:04:00 was an underground radioactive dungeon that's filled with nuclear waste. I had the misfortune of spawning on top of that thing once and that's how i discovered it. The "bomb on four legs" achievement it's actually because a nuclear creeper exploded near you, they spawn in nuclear wastelands

It's actually a good idea to kill animals early on. Less food for the parasites (near you at least) early on. The same idea was used for the parasite in Halo, because denying the parasite food was the only way to effectively stop it.

Ohhhhh I just learned about what a Scent is and that’s why all of those higher stage parasites were on the island. I don’t know why it was enabled since normally it’s disabled idk who turned it on but yea. But idk why so many adapted parasites where there that idk. Also at like 2:43:00 y’all had like 2 Stage 3 Beckons and a Stage 3 Dispatcher and a horde all so close to each other idk how u both managed to not get completely destroyed. Especially idk how there wasn’t any Stage 4 in all of that time.

I'm so glad he said it all the people saying to make lava casts and sky bases. Do you people also enjoy watching paint dry? It would be extremely boring to see no danger at all, no risk of any sort if you just get rid of the threat. The same could be said about watching a professional player breeze through the game with ease. Actually, there are flying parasites which can attack you up in sky bases, and parasites that can dig from below. But yes, generally they are like watching paint dry unless somehow the parasite AI is smart enough to figure out how to get past it.
