I would even say the modders should utilise the portal mechanic and have an end game goal be to teleport to a realm where the infection (sculk, wither, parasite, etc.) can't grow or spread. It would give people more of a reason to play beyond seeing how long they survive.

The fact of what makes this terrifying as a concept is that they are withering away and fading into nothing pretty much. I believe anything infected still has a conscious but is driven by pain and torment. The scariest monsters are the ones who are always in constant pain which drives them to madness.

I love the silly decisions made in this video. Mildly infuriating but entertaining to watch. - Sean walks through a cave of andesite, and either doesn't notice or doesn't care. - Placing blocks down spreads the Wither, but everyone is seen placing down Wither Roses or blocks instead of just throwing them - Placing water in the Nether--or trying to, anyway - Using wool to bridge down to lava - Planning to build off the ground only to: not consider the height of Withered mobs, build a large pillar that connects to the ground, and construct multiple stairways to reach the base - Not abandoning ship when seven different Wither outbreaks were closing in on all sides - Running gleefully to anything Wither-related, but then again I have a feeling a lot of us would too - Not running when the second village was falling to bits, however the fact that the iron needed to smelt made this justified

what should have happened: Step 1: build a platform in the air Step 2: add a water column you can turn on and off as your way up and down Step 3: build a cobble generator Step 4: gather dirt and seeds/crops to make a farm as well as saplings for a wood farm Step 5: treat it like you are playing skyblock without the risk of falling killing you (you won't die immediately, but the nether'd mobs might on your way back up) - saving villagers for trades or an iron farm is optional - anything other than that should be just for the content

If you break the lowest piece of sand, and then immediately place down a torch where it was, all of the sand pieces above it fall into the torch and immediately break. Also works with rails iirc And if you made an encased fan and put it blowing towards lava, you could have made stacks of glass without the furnaces and much faster
