This is very close to what I've been using on my Hunchback 4L as of late. I have 6 medium lasers and only 1 Large laser, and I love it. The large is nice for long-range "poking" and the mediums are great for close up "punches"

Double heatsinks, the ones in engine are not nerfed (200% heat eff), others are weaker. (140% heat eff) Single heatsinks do 100% and 200% in legs in water. Your % heat eff is 4,000% with single heatsinks with 4,400% when in water if you got 40 ie this build. If they are double heat sinks, you get 2,000 from the engine and rest are 1960%. adding to 3,960% your build = 4,000% to 4,400% DHS = 3,960%. I love the banshee for this reason. You can have so much sh*t on it and be effective. Half my builds on it is based of 3060 builds and such (ie , 1 sm las, 5 med las, 1 lrm 15, 1 AC 10, 1 tag, 1 PPC) (or 5 med pulse, 1 med las, 2 ppc) I am happy I found this vid, You got a good firepower mech with good heat and when the Repair and Rearm costs, You will be rolling in money! No ridiculous high amount of c-bills to pay for fixing Endo Steel (the hardest thing to repair and most expensive), Or FF armour, or Double Heatsink replacement, or lostech weapons like pulse lasers, or ammo,Standard engine. etc! Only costy- part of this mech is the 95 tons of mech part. Besides that. This is awesome.

Also by what merit do you base your argument? Space? Cool Rate? Heat Threshold? Because it's certainly not weight. Now for those like myself who don't accept what's told without explanation, with Elites the figures work out to the following: 24 DHS (10 DHS, 14 1.5HS) get 83.52 Threshold and 4.55h/s Cool Rate, for 14 tons and anywhere from 24 to 42 crits depending on engine size and assuming a minimum engine size of 250 to get those 10 engine heat sinks. While 40 SHS get 84 Threshold and 4.6 Cool Rate, for 30 tons, and 24 to 30 crits assuming the same as above. So yeah, 40 SHS beat 24 "DHS" by the slimmest of margins (.48 Threshold and .05h/s Cool Rate) if you have 16 spare tons, but unless you're in a high end Assault that's not likely the case, not without having less armor than a maxed out 75 tonner or an XL engine.

i has 9 med pulse lazers, and im a medium mech.. i run alot faster than you.. are you in an assault class? this is basically my setup, but i has weight issues.. so i mostly cycle 6 of my lazers with Backspace so i continuously fire, and pulse the other 3 WITH that when i gotta good aim. i also hotkeyed 3 to fire ALL for when i panic, and i run with my heat safetys off in sticky situations, i dont rly over heat.. but i have far less heatsyncs i think. just my entire right side, and most of my left full of syncs.
