I first fell in love with music as a child through video game soundtracks, so for me to now be writing a song for a video game celebration is nothing short of a dream-come-true! I was captured by Forget Me Not's character in Reverse: 1999- a man of seeming eloquence with a sharp tongue and unwashable bitterness towards humanity. It was such fun material to write about, so I hope that you have fun listening 💙 Of course, I must thank my dear friend Kaishun for the irreplaceable composition and performance on the instrumentation for this song. He brought Forget Me Not's dark heart to life through the music alone, which made writing the lyrics and melody such an easy task- the mark of a true musician. I would like to again thank the Reverse: 1999 Team for this tremendous milestone in my musical life. And finally, thank you very much, reader, for listening to my song! I am grateful to the Lord for blessing me with an audience and for giving me a love for music.

This is amazing!! I’ve missed a couple premiers lately, but thankfully made it to this one! I always love the Trickle original songs, and this one has really cool chill and mysterious vibes. The music style is cool, for some reason it reminds me a bit of Kanaria (in a positive way!), maybe a touch of Ado, as well. It has a different sound to it than your Ghost Town stuff, but the jazzy feel really suits the song/R1999, in my opinion! The lyrics are also so well written! Especially the chorus, “An elixir mixed with fickle dreams/ Add a splice of vices: Pride and Greed” goes SO hard, the use of assonance is a clever touch that helps the verse flow so seamlessly together. It’s so exciting to see you writing official songs for games like this- incredible work, here, and I hope you have a lovely day!
