Father God, my strength is gone. I suffered an heart attack two years ago and I’m battling lupus. Please give me strength. I know things will get better as long as I keep faith and I trust in you. Even as I constantly struggle to provide for my children I trust in you Heavenly Father. Walking with faith is all we can do as christian’s. Like most single mothers things are hard on me.Both of my sons are autistic, it’s a lot on me. I’m constantly struggling to pay rent and constantly struggle to provide for my boys. I’m overwhelmed and now that I’m home schooling them I’m having trouble getting their school supplies. Heavenly and merciful Father, I come before your glorious throne today, in humble adoration please help me overcome my struggles and my constant fear of poverty. I know you have a plan for me Lord Amen!

i’m a teenager in highschool, and i’ve been obsessively worrying about my future and colleges. it’s been to such an extreme extent that it’s all i can think about, it causes me anxiety and burdens me really heavily. my mind is always distressed and always in school mode. i’m always trying to find a way to improve my chances at getting into a top school, it’s totally ruining me. however, recently i’ve been working on giving my future to God and it’s been insanely helpful (not very easy, either). My academics and the way others perceive my intellect aren’t everything, and that’s taken some time to adjust to and for me to understand. I’ve, however, grown to understand that the only real fulfillment is in Christ and i feel so much more at peace when I give my future to him. It’s hard, but It’s ultimately better to be at ease in where i am now and in acceptance of my future, than to always be chasing something that will never truly make me happy. this video came at a perfect time :)

God is very good! Recently, my aunt's husband's mother almost died after suffering from a big stroke and collapsing on the ground, and her neighbors called the hospital after seeing her almost motionless on the ground, allowing the hospital to detect that she had a lot of blood in her brain! It was terrifying since the doctors had just warned us that she only had 24 hours to live, and she was all the way in Canada, which he couldn't make it due to the two-day drive. So we all kept praying for her, and even though he didn't actually believe in God, he realized he had nothing else to do in this very moment but pray, and the next day we got a call from the hospital stating she's progressing and responding, and she just has a week left to live. So, after a two-day drive, he wasted no time in meeting her to find out she's in rehab and learning to walk and talk again! She's doing great! Luke 1:37: “With God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 18:27: “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Proverbs 20:30: “Sometimes it takes a painful experience to make us change our ways.”

Having GOD is our life is very crucial because the days are evil and end time is very near. God is our only provider, protector, peace, physician. His daily presence in our life give us direction, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to our plans, our thoughts, our deeds and our decisions. He make our path straight. Put on the full Armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. ( Ephesians 6:11) Making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. ( Ephesians 5:16)

I made a big financial decision because of my fear of being broke. I was overthinking the future. I basically started a business and now I’m in debt. I cannot focus of the now, I cannot focus on my relationship with God. All I’m thinking about is paying off this debt. I promised God it’d just be him and I for the remainder of this year and I broke that promise because I was overthinking of myself and the future. I deeply regret it and I can’t even make returns. Please learn from this. Forget the future, focus on God now.

I thought I’d be okay and less stressed but I see that I was wrong now. I thought “I’ll just see for myself.” 🤦🏻‍♀️ Guys, please be obedient the first time and stop leaning on your own understanding. That tug or that “don’t do it” could be the Holy Spirit really just telling you to not do it. I’m a new believer but inner feeling has usually been conviction of the Holy Spirit and not me. I always thought I was being a loser for not going the way of the world but… it was the protection of God 😕. Please learn from this.

Matthew 25: 1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh

I feel like God knew I needed to hear this today. He knows it's easy for me to get worried about things and that I can't always enjoy the present moment. I don't want to push him away with my constant worries or mistrust his promises. But it gets so hard sometimes, please pray for me. 🙏🏼 I deal with a lot of anxiety, overthinking [ruminating], insecurities and negative thinking. I also don't want to be afraid and worry about every little thing in my life, so please someone pray for me. 😢

You are so right in everything you just said Alex, thank you for reminding me of this truth!! I can't wait to listen to you about overthinking, it is also true, Jesus never overthought!!! and we are to be more like him... overthinking pushes us further away from being more like Jesus!! How wonderful it is to know that we can do all things in Christ Jesus... overthinking ages us to the core, steals our peace... I really am looking forward to that message, ready with my notebook and fave pen 🥰🌷 God bless you, your family and the ministry God has placed you in. 🤗

I don't want to live anymore. Every moment of every day, I desperately pray to die. I am in emotional agony and turmoil. I am in hell with no escape. I cannot breathe through the grief. He betrayed and abandoned me and replaced me with another. Discarded me like last week's garbage. He was my "best friend". We spoke every day. My heart is in so much pain, it physically hurts. My soul is raped. I cannot breathe. I am drowning. Being buried alive. How could he do this to me? And why?

I could have spoken to you of a lot of thing from the bible .... But I find it better to introduce you to the song .... the song which helped me come out of what I was trapped in ..... Edith Piaf Jérusalem (Don't Ignore this ..... and Don't ignore god .... he works in ways which humans can't comprehend) JESUS LOVES YOU!!! Edith Piaf Jérusalem → English translation Alone... In the desert and burnt by the sun
Of Jerusalem, of Jerusalem Alone... A man in white, far away, is witnessing the awakening Of Jerusalem, of Jerusalem In His eyes, there is the goodness of the world. In His heart, there is the love of the world. In His hands, there is the magic of the world. By His grace, the whole universe is in the desert. And the solitary Man,
Transfigured, is going guided by the white bird Towards Jerusalem, towards Jerusalem There... He walks among the soldiers and people Of Jerusalem, of Jerusalem In their eyes, there is the misery of the world. In their heart, there is the pain of the world. In their hands, there is the anger of the world. The whole universe is thankful to Him in the desert. But the man in white smiles, his gaze towards them all. The drum beats To announce the fulfillment of the destiny Of Jerusalem, of Jerusalem Because ... A man fell on the road of stones Of Jerusalem, of Jerusalem. In His eyes, there is the forgiveness of the world. His heart spreads all the love in the world. From His hands emerged the Light of the world. It's a new sun that rises in the sun... Of Jerusalem... Of Jerusalem...

The key to being present, I found, is willfully exposing yourself to difficultly. Not getting yourself into trouble. I mean, exercising, maybe getting a job that makes you walk by faith, volunteering to an inner city ministry, etc. You'll fail a lot. But you'll also experience a lot more of God's grace.

Hi Alex, great podcast as always! I have a question. I often hear you refer to Christ's return as the second coming and that we need to be ready. However I've always known Christ's return to be the rapture of the church where the dead in Christ will rise first and we who are alive and saved will be caught up to meet them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (1Thessalonians 4:16-17) And the second coming to be when believers return with the Lord to the earth after the great tribulation so he can establish his reign on earth, his millennial kingdom after defeating the antichrist (Revelations 19:11-16) I send this with love and just wanted to know your thoughts!!🙏🏾

My friend from high school did the same at the end of may, on mental health day. It was hard to come to grips with but he’d dealt with suicidal thinking for so long. Honestly, keep your faith in Christ at the forefront, trusting fully in him will help you. As far as helping his family and fiancé, just tell them how you know him and ask how you can help. Share fond memories, show support by attending the funeral if you’re comfortable. Being there physically is the best thing you can do for someone, even with no words.

Hello! I'm so Excited to tell you about this time that my youngest (10-ish yo) son (who has PTSD) was having an awful day and I know he gets really annoyed that I Always bring Jesus into the conversations. Because He works! I took out a sheet of paper and drew a large head. Sadly I'm not an artist and it looked ridiculous. I gave him the paper and a pencil. He looked confused. And I said, I want you to write the word "Jesus" over and over inside the head. Big, small, it doesn't matter . And he began but was clearly uninterested with this little experiment. Is this enough? I said idk. I still see spaces. But if you think that's enough. . . He went back at it. Upon completion I asked him if he was still upset. He said no. And I said, huh, so, if you put Jesus in your thoughts when you're upset, and when you're not, there doesn't seem to be room for the things that get you really upset. And you can think better about how to handle those nasty thoughts and feelings. I was like Thank You, Lord for having my back Again! 😅lol❤

Basically, you don’t need to worry about anything (specifically the future in this video) bc God is gracious and He will always provide for us.
