Dan Harris sums it up pretty cleverly, I think. He looks at anxiety and its effects on people as "sh*t that fertilizes your future growth." ;)

Thanks Shaan. I have def grown a lot after my trauma. This has made me into a stronger person. Not scared any more. I look at it as a learning experience. Thanks to you once again and of course me for putting in the work.

Thank you Shaan. I'm finally having days where I feel "normal", with few intrusive thoughts and with little cardiophobia (which has been my problem for months). I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, even though anxiety is still hitting hard in some days. Maybe I'll finally be able to consider my anxiety as a gift, as sonething that will make me stronger and allow me to achieve new goals in life.

@@grzegorz685 much better, thanks. I've been working a lot on intrusive thoughts with my therapist (a specialist in the metacognitive approach) and I've been taking antidepressants, in small doses. By the end of the year I plan to stop all therapies, if I keep getting better. I'm almost there, but not entirely yet.

Thanks Shaan. This video was perfectly timed. Having almost recovered from falling into the anxiety cycle, a noticeable tail end challenge has been the emotionally charged memory of the anxiety, particularly when it’s associated with a familiar location like being at home where anxiety has been carried and manifested for some time, and where we then must continue to spend much of our time during recovery. Accepting these flashes of memory will come and go as part of the recovery process and letting them pass with as little resistance as possible through a less sensitized body and mind loosens their foundation, and are noticeably fading. Almost there

Dear Shaan, Thank you so much for how much you’ve helped me in my life. I am 20 years old. I thought after middle school problems with confidence and anxiety would be a thing of the past. Last summer I was going through one the most debilitating moments of my life. I’ve faced a lot of challenges in life but I thought I finally lost. But it wasn’t true, I can’t lose as long as I decide to keep going. I chose to be brave and followed the steps you mention in your videos. Not steps really, but principles, and I have reclaimed my life. My belief in myself is true again. Thank you. Whether I have symptoms from time to time is irrelevant now because I would continue my life all the same. With confidence and a love for life. Thank you so much and good luck with helping people all over the world, Shaan. Niloy

I overcame anxiety to 95% now, but there is still a sense of dread in the background. Like when I'm motivated or actually enjoy things, or even just try to rest, it's a bit dreading. Like I'm not used to feel this way.

This made me cry ❤ i do feel so much that i am stronger and that i am recovering...that i am in a phase of tremendous learning and growth. I am learning to accept the setbacks as part of the process and not be perfectionistic about it. I also have much less fear and reactivity around symptoms. I do still have challenges, but i am trying to lean into them and show my body that its ok, i am safe now. Thanks for this video Shaan, and all your info. ❤

I've literally been thinking I don't know how I'll get over these feelings I've had to deal with. How I'm scared they will become traumatic and haunt me and stop me recovering properly. Thank you for addressing this it was very needed and it really isn't something that I've seen addressed before. As someone with complex-PTSD I have definitely seen the growth and also the pain that comes from trauma. I just sometimes need reminding that I have overcome stuff before and been stronger for it in some ways. If I can survive that I can survive anxiety.

this is fantastic advice. Getting rid of emotions and bad thoughts are so important. My way of looking at it is, there are two days every week you can’t do anything about yesterday and tomorrow. Try and live for the moment ,day.

Can you talk about tinnitus caused by tinnitus please.I already rules out ear infections and or imparied hearing as it was checked by my doctor and it keeps changing frequency. At times its gone like for 2-3 days then comes back. Sometimes it stops for like for minutes and comes back minutes later. Its just random and despite putting it under the umbrella its still annoying at times

If you were actually able to literally and naturally (like without using any kind of drugs or weed) to forget about this events from the past - that where a true cure would step in. But I still guess the older you get the higher are the chances that all of those negative memories may be 'resolved' one day.^^
