This is really it guys. I got trapped into watching too many videos about it, because I felt that in one of these videos, there'll be a magical solution, like a switch which I can just turn off. There isn't. After relentlessly watching too many videos over the last 2-3 years, I think I am finally accepting that there's no magical answer to it. The answer had always been there, but I was too scared to follow through with it. Start small. If you cannot leave the house now, try leaving the house 2 times a day, then 3 timws, then 5 times. Slowly, over the course of time you'll be able to train your brain that it is not a real threat, only a false alarm of an overprotective nervous system. PS: Again, don't try to watch all the videos, read all the books, click on all the articles. Again, THERE'S NO MAGICAL SWITCH OUT THERE.

i'll tell you this, this is most amazing method to recover yourself, i beg you people to go on and use this method for next few months before trying anything else. this method might save years of your life, and please share this with more people who suffer from anxiety, they might get a lot more videos on how to cool it down for a while which won't work for long term but trust me on this, the method our brother talks about is absolutely the most right thing to do if you don't wanna end up going to one therapist to another for years form now.

Are u recovered? Somedays I am fine. I go weeks at a time without one. And than I went to a birthday party and had cake and coffee and too much food. Woke up at 5sm with bad stomach and felt anxious...and it started a mini panic attack....I think the difference was, I didn't panic..I tried to just let it BE. I didn't react in fear. I assume the more ppl practice this. The better their recovery would go.!!

this is absolutely genius!! i used the same method as per he said BECAUSE literally everything used to trigger my anxiety and i used this method for couple of months, it felt terrible, the last 2 months have been a real horror for me because i was literally overloaded with anxiety when i practiced this technique but i kept on believing that it will go away eventually, i said to my self " i know it will take some time to recover, rather than suffering with anxiety for years from now on in my life i would rather prefer to suffer intensely and face my anxiety for a while and then get over it" and it worked!!, and now i don't have the any of those fucking triggers anymore which even didn't let me study for last 8 months. trust me it was hard but wasn't impossible and all the credit goes to this guy that i rewired my nervous system. remember this, "TOUGH TIMES DON'T BUT TOUGH PEOPLE LAST"

I love what you said, coz yes, facing our anxiety and triggers will heighten our anxiety/panic for some time, as opposed to coping (which most of us have been doing for years)... but facing will ensure long term freedom I am hoping.

Nowadays I just stop giving a crap about it. At first I worried to panic but now when I know its anxiety causing my symptoms then I just let it be there. I go screened by doctor. BP is fine, breathing is fine, my eye sight is okay after visiting my eye doctor for yearly check-up, and I been working out more for my own health and eating right. Not saying I did those two last things to get rid of anxiety since that is a distracting technique so I see them as useful for my general health like when i mediate. IT WAS FREAKING HARD, but don't despair about. All you sufferers like me it gets easy the more you practice in letting go and being consistent with it

You recognize that you are paying attention to how you’re feeling and the symptoms which means you are in your head, then you refocus OUTWARDS to the present moment to the conversation you’re or whatever you’re doing, and you just keep doing this as much as it’s needed then eventually your nervous system will recognize that there’s no threat and no need to react that way.. it’s about acknowledging and then refocus to the present moment

When I got the panic attack on stage the other day, I knew that ai had left the stage Inwould have lost the battle. Glue yourself to the floor where you are and stand your ground. Same here, I can't feel my arms much. It is so numb and it is hard for me to grab things as I can't hold stuffs for long. It is so disturbing for me because my aunt recently passed away because she also used to have extreme anxiety and her hands used to shake, then went numb and wouldn't able to do stuffs to the point her whole body went paralyzed. She was like this for 11 years and then went paralyzed fully for 5 years to the point she won't even talk. I am so scared of this, I can't accept it. I just turned 22 and this numbness in my body is constantly giving me major panic attacks. I don't know how to deal with this and I can't even tell someone. I tried to tell my sis but she got so pissed of at me, that I am too immature but these feelings and fears are really real and am so alone always.

It is absolutely normal ma'am. Gradually when you start believing that it is absolutely normal then u would find that horrible symptom of yours has gone away. I have been noticing you for such a long time about being terrified owing to your symptoms. Actually let me tell you dear if your chest tightness would have been due to some terrible disease it could have killed you way back..... Relax maam it is just anxiety just focus on actual methods of acceptance.... trust me you would find yourself to be a better person than ever before

@@mathewrinehart530 Yes, anxiety doesn’t always have to feel the same and can manifest in different ways and 100s of different symptoms and weird sensations. Generally the symptom you fear the most will be magnified 10x worse than what it really is. Like Shaun said in previous videos, anxiety is the biggest trickster at convincing you that something is wrong with your body. The less fear, attention, and interest that you give these symptoms when they arise, the quicker they will eventually subside and disappear. As long as your doctor says your ok, you literally have nothing to be concerned about.

Yes it does! Makes you feel like your life is falling apart. It’s important to keep in mind in the hard moments that as much as you’d like to go back to how things were before anxiety, your goal should be to come out of this a better version of yourself. One that knows how to navigate anxiety and overwhelm (since your old self’s habits led you to this stage in life to begin with). Be gentle with yourself, practice positive self talk, and BE PATIENT! You got this!

I try to remember my old self but it's hard sometimes I can't even talk and I'm just like what's going on why is this happening. Even when I'm calm I still don't feel myself . I'm either crying agitated or have guilt and shame and feel like a burden . I keep having these clarity moments when life is beautiful and clear but they aren't staying they last for only so long . I get upset cuz I want those moments back . It's like the depression lifted and everything that happened in the past wasn't real . I want that moment back . Sometimes I wanna go to a mental home to get fixed is that fighting the anxiety ?

You'll do fine.. just stay strong.. Pro tip - carry something to divert your mind, maybe read a book or listen to songs , carry some chocolates ..i also carry essential oils that helps in relieving anxiety.. just a smell of them helps me calm down my mind... Once all your 5 senses are in control.. nothing could trigger anxiety.. Also, just believe things are gonna be just fine.. you are not alone...we are all in this together 🙌
