the only difference in the blade is that sometimes the back of the curve was sharpened as well as the front for hacking limbs. brutal but true

I don't remember where I saw this, but if you have damascus steel, and a special type of acid, you can make patterns on the blade via folds made during forging. It's a complicated and maybe expensive process, but it looks incredible.

I'm assuming your using the combat abrasive belts too? Do they last? I was thinking about getting 3m's cubitron II. Just exploring other options.

Bronze leaf shaped blade? If you can't work with bronze maybe make a leaf shaped blade out of steel maybe. Would be cool to see if you do that.

now i dont know if yer up for a challenge since i have yet to see a video on it but could ya try to make the doomfist from overwatch a tip from this diy person here make it in two parts the shoulder and then the lower arm it will help.i look forward to seeing your take on the gauntlet

just a friendly suggestion, but you should definitely do a video game esque blade or something of the sort, I'm sure a bunch of people would love to see something like that great vid btw love your work

You should do a little info card at the end, inform us what inspired you to make the tool, or history of the tool. Great video too. Also what's the sharpening system you use? It kinda looks like the KME

You could definitly make a katana doesn't have to be a traditional one but a katana nonetheless. The handles you make would look beautiful on a katana. Hope you read this:)

What do you call the contraption that you put the final edge on? (The one that makes absolutely 100% certain that you get the same exact angle every time and on both sides.) I've never seen anything like that before... did you purchase it or make it?
