Your work is simply amazing. I've watched one of the greats, Shiva Ki, forge his knives and Samurai swords and was in awe, and like that, the precision here has left me flabbergasted. I firmly believe that it takes a person of genius levels to do work like this, and I think the work itself and the pieces produced by it are proof enough.

Another masterpiece! Beautiful blades, exquisite guards and hilts! Only one thing: I always feel that the threaded tang & nut method you use kind of detracts from your creations rather than a proper peened pommel (ok, I'm a weirdo, I know). Cheers!!!

Yes that is stingray, you can tell by the white diamond in in the skin. that is distinctive of Stingray. It is about the best skin to use, to maintain one's grip on a sword. Am no fond of the sword design, but it is still a beautiful sword.

Good master, are you using a forced air forge burner? If so, are you using natural gas as fuel? Since I remember that a propane burner typically does not require an air blower. Or is it the propane you are using has a low pressure so you have to have a forced air setup?

it is a gas forge, I use a combination of venturi and forced, it works on venturi alone but the forced air gives way more control. especially at higher temperatures.

pattern welded steel is often called Damascus steel. but it is not really damascus steel. real Damascus steel is a crucible steel.

So did you have to start over? From the beginning until 6:30 you forged out a blade. At 6:15, you hammer out the tip, but at 6:45 you're hammering a new billet.
