Since someone's bound to ask. A Wyrm is "a huge legless and wingless dragon, a dragon or serpent like creature."

I prefer using round files for this sort of thing, the file teeth look good for scales and you can add a dragon's face easily enough. Plus they quench well in water and spark incredibly well when you do so. Still, your version is a nice forging mate, well done.

Glad you liked it. That's a cool idea with the round files, I've seen lots of people in the Bushcraft community use old files for Flint strikers, and they do work super well.

Looks cool! How long did it take to forge the Wyrm in total?
@DaveDoesMetals10 ай бұрын
Thanks! Probably about an hour, but that's with setting up cameras and everything. I could probably do it in 20-30 minutes if I just went for it. When I make these for sale I usually do them in batches of a few at a time, so my time is more efficiently spent. When one cools down I put it back in the forge and grab the other and so on. In that way I can do 3-4 in 30 minutes. Don't wanna have too many irons in the fire though, as the saying goes.
