God had been communicating with Abraham for quite some time. You know the story about how Abraham and Sarah did not have children and Sarah gave her maid to Abraham to have a baby. Then Sarah hated the maid because she got pregnant and kicked the maid out. This was an overt injustice to the maid. God did not take it lightly. On its face it seemed as if everything was okay--you know this is just how we do things. You know how we humans do. We think that we can do whatever we want to do to others and it's okay. No one will know and basically, so what. At the drop of a hat we treat humans like trash, try to get rid of them or work to make them a target of hate by spreading lies, or getting them to destroy themselves by responding to false, fake stimuli. We'll even go so far as to make the target think that we are helping them, like them, we are their "friend" or we are on the same team or whatever the illusion is that is trying to be presented. All the while we are working to destroy another person or groups of people. It is at this point that the enemy is projecting their thoughts onto the target. The enemy is deceiving and being deceived (2 Timothy 3) and operating under strong delusion (2 Thessalonians 2) that they themselves think. And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. The Chief mimicker who is fulfilling the work of Satan with giving the illusion of power, signs and lying wonders but with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, which is the Word of God, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. Ultimately, Hagar fled because the hate and jealousy was overwhelming. Sarah was very jealous and hateful toward Hagar, even though it was her idea to have Hagar sleep with Abraham to make a baby. An angel of the Lord found Hagar in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. He told Hagar to return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. The angel of the Lord told Hagar that I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. He told Hagar that she was with child, a son, and his name shall be Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction (Genesis 16). Later, God spoke to Abraham and said, “.. ..as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.” (Genesis 17)

True, but why not private confession and holy absolution? Can not a Christian confess his sins directly to God? Yes, God hears us whenever we pray (Ps 51:1-2, 139:1-4) but God has chosen to place His absolution in the mouth of the minister/priest whom He has sent (2 Sam. 12:13; 2 Cor. 5:20). He given his chosen ministers the “office of the keys” to bind and loose sins (Jn. 20:21-23, Mat. 16: 19, Mat. 18:18, 1 Jn. 1: 8-9). 1Jn 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Mat 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Mat 18:18 Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. The world is manipulating people with electro magnetic mind invasive technology to tell people what to do and what to think. People are feeling special to be chosen to belong to a red, green, blue, pink, yellow, maroon, orange, purple, white, silver and gray color team--and any other color that is not mentioned. Those who are working in the shadows are being controlled by a government, and a law enforcement entity. Law enforcement are getting jazzed by believing and thinking that they are controlling teams of various colors. The color strategy and scheme and mind manipulation techniques are used by the world to mimic God's "chosen". God chose you before the foundation of the world was laid. Those God foreknew He also did predestinate. God knows your beginning and your end. The Bible does not tell us that God chose us because we were special. God chooses whom He will. The world is preying off of the fact that we are born in sin and shaped in iniquity and in the absence of the Holy Spirit present in our life; the lusts of the flesh leaves anyone open to be controlled by an unscrupulous entity for deceptive purposes. Michael the archangel of the Lord - The world masking and fooling many who think they are doing God's will. The number 7 used vicariously and given biblical meaning. Again the world masquerading as God. The bible says that if it were possible the elect would be fooled but my people know me and they know my voice and another they will not follow (Matthew 24). And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21)

Praise Jesus' Holy Name (who IS the ONLY true God Almighty there will ever be!) For...after confessing our sins; comes forgiveness. And after believing IN the ONLY true God (who IS Jesus); comes the 1st resurrection (Born Again). And After Jesus deems that our beliefs IN Him; were sincere; comes Life Everlasting on Judgment Day. Thus...Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men (mankind), even blasphemies howsoever they shall blaspheme: (there is ONE exception-later) Thus...Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they (Born Again) shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (But only one day IN the old Heaven. Where the Non Born Again shall stay in their graves for literally 1,000 yrs; waiting for the 2nd resurrection.) Thus...John 3:15 That whosoever believes in Jesus; should not perish (in hell), but have Everlasting life. Now sadly, IF any one dies and has not believed IN the same God as Abraham did and worshiped; that person (Non Born Again) will have committed the ONLY Un-Forgivable Sin; that sends ANY one to hell. Sadly, Protestant have rejected the sacrament of private confession and holy absolution. One who has committed mortal sin, needs or should to be going to confession, etc. Psa 32:3 For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. Forgiveness of sins is received through word (law/gospel) and sacraments (e.g. Holy baptism, Private confession & Holy absolution, corporal body and blood of Christ) and God’s word is attached to the sacraments (confessional Lutherans consider private confession and Holy absolution as the third sacrament). Private Confession and Absolution is an absolute gift to the church. The Seal of confession also brings comfort knowing that my confessions will never be divulged to anyone, under any circumstances. A priest/pastor is your spiritual father, meaning that he been ordained, called and appointed to tends your spiritual needs with word (law/gospel) and sacraments (e.g. holy baptism, private confession & holy absolution, the Blessed Sacrament, etc). My priest/pastor is my earthly “father confessor“ who tents to my spiritual needs and pronounce absolution, etc. Can not a Christian confess his sins directly to God? The 2 really unanswered questions here are: 1) what is “sin” according to GOD; 2) what is true “repentance” according what Jesus actually said (in His own words, Chapter and verse) in the Bible? Jesus, who IS GOD, explains everything clearly to His Disciples. 3) Are YOU one of His Disciples or are you “doing your own thing”?

Repentance is to feel sorry for doing what is evil, unrighteousness, and desiring to change, and confessing to God your sorrow and trying to live under His cleansing death that gives you-us a cleansing , peaceful mind and heart.

What is repentance unto life?” The answer given is: “Repentance unto life is a saving grace, whereby a sinner, out of a true sense of his sin, and apprehension of the mercy of God in Christ, doth, with grief and hatred of his sin, TURN FROM IT unto God, with full purpose of, and endeavor after, new obedience.” Other words one can't keep on committing the same old sin and keep asking for forgiveness.

@@olgaburgos7780 Thanks Olga. Your definition is clear and I believe it is true. I’m trying to imagine that the Holy Spirit is providing me with an answer through you, a Born Again Believer. Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again and had a further conversation about Nicodemus’ ignorance. Just see what Jesus actually said as recorded in the Bible. I actually would trust the accuracy of the Bible’s teachings rather than just listening to definitions-that’s the point I was making. I’ve been a Christian listening to sermons for decades and I’m shocked to realize how little I know about what Jesus actually said. Thanks again for taking the time to reply ❤️

What do I do with my guilt? I obey the scripture and confess it and forsaketh no matter how far I fall or how high I walk I still confess my sins , too living this flash is to be contrary to God in ways we have no idea. That's why Jesus taught his disciples to pray, forgive us this day, I said this day, our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. In other words we need cleansing every morning when we awaken and we need his keeping power all through the day and at the end we still have sinned.

But I need to tell you that Jesus was talking about the daily walk and forgiveness of Sins which is sanctification, Peter was thinking about the original forgiveness and salvation of the Soul, but we still need to pray, forgive us this day our sins that is the daily foot-washing not a one-time thing like I said we need cleansing everyday and it's the same as having your feet Washed by the Holy Spirit, another way to explain it would be, you w ere forgiving and cleansed of your sins but yet in the flesh we sin every day and we only need that forgiving not a complete life we have the tendency to think that when we sin through the day that we fallen from grace and we need cleansing all over, no just the feet and you will be clean.

If 1 John 1:9; Psalms 103:1 are true our judgment as Christians is a matter of rewards at the Bema seat! The non-Christians are the ones having to account for every idle word, action and thought at the Great White Throne judgment - it seems contradictory to many folks, that's where guilt comes in, thinking we'll be at the GWT judgment! We do have freedom from guilt, but maybe not embarrassment at the Bema seat - I'm I correct?
