Thank you so much for sharing this. I have been on a journey these past 2 1/2 years. My husband left me and within 9 months got his girlfriend pregnant and is now married to her. When he left, he told me he knew it’s not what God wanted, but that God would forgive him. I thought and prayed for so long that God would restore my marriage, but my ex-husband made his own choices. For so long I’ve dealt with abandonment and rejection issues because of this incident. When Lysa’s book “It’s not supposed to be this way” came out, I immediately knew God put it in my path. I’ve healed a lot since then through God's power while reading that book and now I need to forgive. Forgiveness is something God has spoken to me throughout the last couple months through multiple people and avenues. I knew that God was going to open my heart enough to be able to receive Lysa’s new book “Forgiving what you Can’t forget.” and am ready to release my pain and rejection to God. This talk was just another confirmation of what God is telling me. One day I would love to tell Lysa how God has used her in my life. I truly don’t know where I would be without God's Mercy and the truths he’s spoken to her. Thank you for your ministry!

I too feel so grateful for the timing of these videos and her books. These past few years have been the most difficult I have ever lived thru. I am the only Believer, the only Republican and the only unvaxed person in my family. I have had so many things said to me, and attitudes shared with me, and people who have shunned me in ways I never thought possible. I am hoping and praying that other women in my shoes can connect with me so that we can support each other thru this time. Thank you again Lysa for sharing these incredible truths and tools. God Bless♥️

What do you do when you are in a life long marriage with this person who is a narcissist that never quits blaming you and manipulating every day?

Christianity does not equal doormat. Setting boundaries is biblical and God never endorses abuse.

Wow, I can’t believe someone would ask which was worse, being cheated on by a partner or being sexually abused as a child. They are very different, and that question is completely inappropriate.

All the stuff you say works with normal people who may still have a conscience and a relationship with God. However when you're dealing with the narcissist none of this works, they only use forgiveness to take advantage of you mock God and you and totally destroy your life period what kind of real help and advice can you give for people who have been attacked and destroyed by narcissist?

I can very much relate with this. My ex was a narcissist and I too had these same questions. I would tell him I forgave him and he would just laugh at me. He would make me feel like I was crazy and needy when I asked for support. One of the thing I’ve learned through Lysa’s teaching is that forgiveness has very little to do with the offender. I wanted to verbalize my forgiveness to my narcissistic ex to see how he would reply. I wanted validation that what he did was wrong, but I never received that from him. He used it against me. I am learning that forgiveness is not giving them a free pass or not acknowledging the pain they’ve caused. It’s releasing the need for validation to God, not to man. It’s a difficult journey that I am still in the middle of, but day by day I am learning more how to forgive something the other person does not even see. I would highly suggest listening to her audio book “Forgiving what you can’t Forget”. The book talks about this in depth and had really help me understand it. I am so sorry you are going through this. I know personally how painful it can be. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️

Hearing about not being offended as a God's rule. when someone hurts you is also an aha moment. I'm not to be offended. Even if I don't understand why they did what they did.
