The Only Playset I ever had as a kid was a Mumm-Ra's Tomb for the little plastic figurine. Only reason I remember is the LOOK the cashier gave me when I bought it.

The Fortress of Doom was a dream come true! I've always wanted one, and most of my art work is inspired by that play set! Among others like Castle Grayskull and the like.

That is so awesome! I can see how such primal, iconic imagery has endured the decades. They definitely don't make 'em like that anymore. Thanks for watching!!!

Surprised I don’t remember the A team base. I had Ace in five inch, and the whole A team in 3 3/4 inch. They felt very cheap compared to the Joe line. Loose joints, flimsy weapons. Five inch was awesome

Hi, the A-Team's Command center it's too big for 3 3/4" figures, it is meant to be in scale with the 5 1/2" large ones. We have playset 3, but keep in mind, to build Fort Kerium you had to buy two different playsets, the tower came witht he other one. Plus, the playset did not include ANY laser action, to make it interact with the lasers you had to buy a third accessory, the Neutra-laser gun.

For fans of awesome playsets I would also recomend you look a little further back. Check out the Marx Catalog from the Mid 70's. They offered three "Giant" playsets designed around Green Army Men type molded figures. The Giant Navarone Playset which is unquestionably one of the greatest playsets ever made. Both the Kenner Deathstar and later GI Joe sets crib heavily from it. It was in a word amazing. It had 2 siblings. a Giant Western Mountain playset involving two mountains forming a complex pass with caves and falling boulders and a stagecoach to rob. Great stuff. And the Prehistoric Mountain Playset which was a rework of the pieces of the western one to form a new setting with Dinosaurs.
