Just found your channel. As an 80s kid, this just takes me back. Had a lot of these playsets from part 1. Nothing beats the 80s toys.

Some cool playsets! That Kung-fu one with the "He-Man" style figure, what a cool looking one. That background with the Ninjas, if that ain't the 80's then none of those are. Great episode, see you in the next one!

Thank you! Yes, this little playset really boiled down the awesomeness of the 80s perfectly! Thanks for watching!!

Crystar was one of my absolute favorite 80's toy lines. My friends and I had virtually everything for the figures!

Some awesome looking playset toys. Don't think I've seen any of these before either.

They are pretty awesome. I don't remember ever seeing them in the wild, but I saw some in print ads in comics. Thanks for watching!!!!

Fun video. For some reason, your videos don't always make my recommendations feed even though I'm subscribed. While I remember really wanting playsets as a kid in retrospect I don't think many of these were worth the money. I think wood blocks and Construx and imagination were more fun than any of what we ever actually got. That said there in a lot of Chap Mei pieces that look like a lot of fun especially if combined.

I agree. I had so much fun with my wooden blocks as a kid, making things for my action figures. Thanks for watching!!

I had the Starriors base and it ruled, even for GIJoe. The Fortress of Fangs was also a good location for them to fight over mystic junk :)

I know! I know! Powerlords didn't succeed because the hero was a CREEPER when he transformed. We all saw him and were like... NO WAY.

Ooh! Ooh! Also... Crystar returns as a Marvel legend soon, I hear.

Man, Fortress of Fangs is a definite "grail" toy. Never had one as a kid, but wanted it so badly. Thanks for watching!!

A friend of mine had the Power Lords figures and a vehicle, it sort of weirded me out. They are freaky looking. I remember the Crystal Castle, I loved those figures.
@MySideoftheLaundryRoom3 жыл бұрын
Dude, they really freaked me out too, lol!!! But I was so drawn to them, never had any though. Crystar was so awesome, but I never remember seeing the castle on the shelves. Thanks for watching, brother!!

the Starriors playset...still got it, still love it! Loved Starriors! now that Dollar Tree has a $5 section i hope we'll get cooler bootleg stuff. I loved Power Lords; they were the Mutant He-Man figures of that day. Crystal Castle existed?!?!?! I've NEVER seen it. ever. I loved Crystar. You have the DANZIG issue??? That's the ONLY issue I lack. alrighty, i think i've caught-up on all of your episodes of playsets.

You think that’s something I’m having thought of the puppet band singing the G.I joe theme . Also nice Naruto shirt . Also imagine snake eyes , Naruto and Gara dropping by the play house then every dancing to fighting dreamers end theme from Naruto.
@MySideoftheLaundryRoom3 жыл бұрын
Snake Eyes would breakdance again, like in the cartoon back in the day, lol

Heard the Crystar Crystal Castle was made of very cheap/flimsy plastic. That wouldn't surprise me having owned some of the Sgt Rock stuff, like their machine gun nest that was blister packing quality plastic...thin and cheap. Starriors Battle Station was neat, but kind small inside. Made more for the smaller Starriors than the humanoid ones.

Maybe scooby doo could show up in the play house and show a episode of the impossibles.
