It adds so much yet takes up little visual space and flattens nicely for writing on the back. “Be Brave and Use Your Cheesecloth!” would be great on one of your zipper bags! I was also thrilled to see you get out your clusters - they haven’t made an appearance in awhile either. Your idea to use up the shorter lengths of ruffles on the tops of bags was genius!!! Love decorating journal pieces with you - so inspiring! ❤

Good morning Gayle I love me some cheese cloth texture too. I dye my own too with distress inks. The sound of your heater is much less distracting than the uproarious sound of my sump pump gushing out a river under my bathroom vents at 3 am. No more sleep for me. Tea with Gayle instead. Love to see the clusters deployed into action♥️

A little tip for everyone. If you want to dye cheese cloth or paper or anything in some colors this is the time of year to buy Easter egg dye. It works great on paper, I haven’t tried it on cheesecloth. If you find the color a little too bright add some coffee instead of water and it tones it down. If you wait closer to Easter or right after you may be able to get the dye kits for a dollar or less.

Love the cheesecloth ❤️. I have a rose tree that my mom bought from a mail order called Jackson and Perkins in 1978. When I bought the house I took out all the rose bushes and trees but this one refused to go. Broke three tools trying to remove it. Now whenever something good or bad happens it blooms like crazy. Can’t tell me she isn’t looking out for us, and wants us to know❤

Hi Gaylearooni!! You know I was thinking if you haven't done so already would you consider doing a bio video on your background? I know from watching that you went to college and you worked at the university. But what did you go to college for? What work did you do before you retired? Are either of those tied to your paper crafting? How did you get into paper crafting? I guess I'm curious about all the creators I am following because I have never been a "crafter" at all. I could never even draw stick people right. But junk journaling has changed this for me. So this has been so inspiring for me at 55 years old! I went through a period of crafting where I put cheesecloth on everything. I even threatened my husband he’d get cheeseclothed if he didn’t stop telling me I had to many craft supplies. I did notice the price had almost doubled in the last two years. Love all the projects today, you’ve inspired me to get my cheesecloth and laces back out. Cheesecloth is a great forgotten friend, I don’t think I’ve used cheesecloth since my Halloween journals. It might’ve even been the Halloween ones from 2021 if I remember right. Somehow I just forget about it. I think they have the colored cheese cloth at Hobby Lobby in the wedding section. I’m not positive, it’s sort of been on my mental list of things I don’t need to buy.😊. Hope your YWCA luncheon went well.

Bless you! I have a story. I was at the store yesterday and an older gentleman sneezed. I was near by and said bless you. He looked at me and his tears just started flowing. He said since my wife died 5 yrs ago, I don’t think anyone has blessed me after a sneeze and I didn’t know I missed it. I talked with him for a few minutes and then thought, Gayle sneezes all the time and Mike is upstairs! So bless you! We never know what others are going through and a little kindness goes a long way! Love using the cheese cloth. Hobby lobby still sells it in colors. It’s back by the fabrics kinda by the thread section. ❤
