Those sweet little girls remind me of a big day in my childhood. My sister and I were about 3 and 5, playing sweetly on our apartment balcony with our dolls. It suddenly started raining malted milk balls, so we cleverly got a laundry basket to help catch them. When our mother saw us with a pile of candy, we explained that it was raining. We didn’t question the wonder of it at all! But she immediately looked up and caught the upstairs neighbor smiling and waving. Childhood innocence!

So much to make and do and it’s so easy to jump around when the creative juices are flowing. It’s cool that you are finishing as well as starting new. Over the years I encountered a story somewhere and not exactly what culture it came from so I’ll refrain from attributing. But it basically said that the world is going to end when the last crafter finishes their last unfinished project. So I’m doing my part to prevent the world from ending.

Wow! You got a lot done again! Love those Ceri fold up coffee dyed paper tag looking piece! I want to make some of those-can you give us the pattern for those. I can make mine look right. Love that Washie Tape you used on them. I loved everything you made! Crafty Hugs, Christal

Fold a coffee dyed 8 1/2 x 11 paper in half, top to bottom. Then fold in thirds. And cut the tag shape on the folded side. Simple as that! ❤

I like all the miscellaneous pieces. I want to make some of those Ceri fold up coffee dyed paper tag looking pieces. I can’t resist putting one of my stamps on the top & bottom of those type of pages. A bird, or rabbit or even a short Bible verse. It breaks up the plain page & maybe a little inspiration to the person writing on it.

All these ideas are great. I love all your vintage photos. I have a question about something. I want to take a stab at coffee dying in the tub you shared. Are the placemats plastic or can you use material. I have alot of old crocheted dollies I made years ago and was thinking of using them. I don't use them anymore so this might be a use for them.

The placemats are plastic. They resist the coffee, so that’s what makes the pattern. I don’t think the cotton doilies would work the same. Another idea is to use your plastic stencils. Hope that helps! ❤
