In my opinion, the Standard B is still a very good tank and if you compare it today with back then (before the nerf of the tank + rammer), it is not much worse. Before the nerf, the DPM with ventilation, stabilization, rammer + rations was ~ 2,450. Nowadays and because of the field modifications, bond / bounty equipment, directives and the new crew system, you get a permanent DPM of 2,444 - minimal worse. And since some new perks can boost the stats even more for a short time, the Standard B is in few situations even stronger then before. Dispersion / gunhandling feels also great again. So yeah, I really enjoy the new / old Standard B.

Standard B used to be my favorite tank in the game. I've not played it since the nerf and a week ago or so I decided to give it a shot once again. So I had a couple of decent games, but I realized that in a T50 I could have done so much better. Back to storage it goes, but I'll never sell it or Prog 65 anyway.

Another great video! I especially liked the minimap speedup to catch us up on the positioning in the last game. Small suggestion: Would it be possible to edit in some text to update us on blindshots/spotting when you don't show the scorescreen? Specially if you are talking about it.

Thanks Video Good Games :) Maybe you could explain 1 thing for me ? and I've asked other streamers (no reply) Why when you play like the Italian Class everyone is Always talking about DPM ? Never use last shell or you loose DPM etc. BUT in reality no mater how good you are or play you Never come close to hitting your DPM.. So the Standard B has a DPM (with your setup) at 2243.12 Now on the 4 games you played your DPM was Game 1- 464, 2- 530, 3- 318, 4- 467 and Yes you had Great scores in all 4 games BUT your DPM was nowhere near 2243 as a matter of fact ALL 4 games added together was still 1000 short of its listed DPM.. I also counted a few times+ where you could of got the extra shot Raising DPM per-game... I do understand there are rare times when saving up to 2-3 shots is needed Like rushing in to clip a tank and a single shot will only get you shot back Etc.. But there are many times especially when shooting half way across map where it Don't matter in IMO *shrug* Seems nobody has answered this in 3 years of asking I thought I'd ask you because you always seem to read comments and acknowledge and reply when necessary.... THANKS PS. its not just Autoloaders BUT they seemed to be brought up most.. Take your Best Game on your Favorite Tank and you still wont come close to listed DPM :)

I agree with you 100% That's I have been saying for years! DPM doesn't exist. Maybe I'm just not experienced with Italian tanks honestly. Never liked this style of playing and being constantly scared of firing. But maybe I just have to play more

Standard B was surprising for me on the tree, I fell in love with the gun handling (as well as the standard pen) and the autoreloader makes the gameplay super interesting! Definitely still in love with it

Great video as always! Its a great highlight of why standard B is not so good anymore. It is annoying to always have to think about prioritizing your reload OR shooting the ennemy. When I was griding the third mark on it, a long time ago, my strategy was just to shoot as soon as I had the opportunity to focus on actual dommage and not "potential dommage". When you wait for your reload thinking you will have a better opportunity, it often ends up with no dommage at all haha

I remember days in WOT Blitz where I deleted every tank in front of my Hetzer, and then they took away the good gun and nerfed the armor so much it is just a bad tank now. IS-6 used to be one of most feared tanks among tier 8, and now its just a bad tank. E 95 was only weak on the back now everyone get through the hatch and lower plate. Game evolved. I dont play WOT but I know that similar changes are taking place.

Combining both nerfs increased aim time by 0.19 sec, accuracy by 0.01, dispersion from movement by 0.02, reduced horsepower by 60 (with corresponding changes to effective traverse speed), reduced turret traverse speed by 2.46 deg, and removed the ability to use a gun rammer (significant nerf to DPM).

I finished standard b recently and I have no memory of how this vehicle used to be. And Honestly, after playing I can say - it is good. It's reliable. It's capable of fulfilling its role. So in my perspective, that tank most likely received those nerfs rightfully, but that is matter of perspective I guess :D

for italian mts you need slow pace games, when there is time for you to load shells. Maybe on tier 9 its not that obvious but on tier 10 you just need to push to get damage or assist and with that reload time its so irritating. I stuck at 92% on progetto and it seems impossible to make 95% at least

Sincere question. Why take the attitude that you did about the TVP ramming kill in the second game? What was he supposed to do? His team is losing completely. He just dumped his clip. He is going to die soon anyway. Shouldn't he be taking any opportunity to get as much more damage as he can while he still can? Wouldn't you do the same? He died honorably, why belittle that?

i would totally play and progress through the italian medium line if this tank's stock grind wasn't unbearable. 210 pen and 240 alpha at tier 9 is unusable and you will be getting zero damage each match because of it.

This is an absolutely amazing tank...until you need to move the hull and shoot within the next 10 seconds. That's why it has 3 shots. So you can do 1 shot of damage. 😢

I used to like Standard B, but now it has the worst gun handling of all tier 9 tech tree mediums and the second worst DPM (only batchat is slightly worse, but that's an autoloader with 6 shells in magazine). And it got even worse when the Intuition was reworked and is completely useless on autoreloaders.
