Forgotten mold, turned out so cute. + pics of last night.

In this tutorial I am pouring a mold that was forgotten about, its a mermaid in a shell. I first brushed the mold with chameleon powders, and then mixed up Lets Resin casting resin and mixed in the Lets Resin black mica powder, ran through the vacuum chamber, let sit overnight to cure.

She's beautiful! But that's a soap mold?? That would be one heck of a mold to work with soap! Being a soap maker, I wouldn't even attempt that mold. But with resin, yes. You did a great job!!

The mermaid is really adorable, Mary! I could see the shape of a human- like body when you were coloring it, and the tail reminded me of a fish, so I was thinking mermaid but really wasn't sure. Where did you get that mold? I wouldn't mind picking it up. I think your Unicorn Spit projects all turned out lovely. The pens worked great on the sunflower tray. The geode- like coaster is still my favorite! Thx for sharing your talent and creativity with us!💜

That mold did look like it was tricky trying to tell what was what. You did a good job figuring it out, she turned out adorable. I couldn’t stand working in 84 degrees either. I’d rather work in the cold. We have a good portable unit that heats and cools. It does a good job for both. It’s rated for up to 500sq.ft. It’s kinda big tho. If you only need AC, a window unit might be a better space saving option. Just a thought.. let me know if you like me to email you a link.😊❤

Sorry forgot I was going to ask you a question? Is it humid where you live, if so do you use a dehumidifier? I live in North Texas and our humidity is so bad right now and was curious how other might combat the same issues

Yes very humid. We have a dehumidifier that is attached to our heating/cooling system.
