THANK YOU, Adam from this upload. I grew up in that part of Ohio and it was great to see it again. I have lived in Orlando for many years but Ohio will always be home for me. So many place in that NW Ohio region that scream small town America ripe for exploring. I was a 90s kid and I can remember riding bikes for hours and hours everyday with friends around small towns like that hitting up different spots for candy, ice cream, and cold pop. Great memories. Keep up the good work and P.S. you pronounced Bucyrus correctly the first time you said it, well done. People normally don't.

I was telling my wife about this series of videos that you're doing and I remember one time in the early 80s taking highway 19 and 41 from Griffin GA to Columbus GA when that was how one would go to Florida and the number of motor lodges that were abandoned properties along the way. It truly is a wonder to see America from these roads.

Sometime when you’re traveling through the farm country of Indiana again, you should check out my hometown, Wakarusa (means Knee Deep in Mud). I was born and raised in Bucyrus, Ohio 1960-1981. The high school I graduated from is just a block from the miniature train you stopped at. Left Ohio for a career in the USAF at 19, now retired in Panama City, Florida. It was nice seeing my hometown on your show. If you are ever back through Bucyrus there are some interesting things you can visit. One of my classmates owns a bar in an old hotel on the town square. It is called "The Crazy Fox Saloon". There is an old prohibition era speakeasy in the basement that Al Capone use to hang out at when he was in town. They do tours of it. Also, several famous murals in town. You should check it out if you ever come back through.

2:56 My uncle was a Catholic priest in the Diocese of Sioux City, Iowa. One of his parishes, St. Mary, was in a small farming community called Willey. Right at the crossroads, there was a row of mailboxes (which has been replaced by a setup similar to this but covered by a pergola). We always jokingly called those mailboxes the Willey post office.
