I remember him doing an interview when he went 2 Miami. They asked him why he went there and he was like " paying me 7 mil a year is a very good reason" Salley was the best

This series will be at least 40 videos long lol... Thank you bro!!!! You're the MVP... Also a video on Troy Hudson would be nice. Or Wally... I can't spell his last name lol

Rik Smits vs Knicks in 95 he outplayed Ewing but he was outshined by Reggie Miller's heroics. Horace Grant vs Bulls 95 he stepped up big time and covered the fact that Shaq underperformed to give MJ his final playoff series defeat of his career. Rip Hamilton vs the Pacers 2004, the only player who produced consistent offense in a defensive slugfest of a series.

Definitely Refreshing to See One of The Most Underrated NBA Shooting Guards of All Times, Mr. Wetty ( Eddie ) Jones… One of My Personal Favorite Players… Eddie came from that Old School Athletic Do - It - All type of Cloth… Especially on Both sides of The Ball… But Most of All His Game Elevated in The Playoffs not like The Generation of Super Stars in The Today’s NBA where The Star Player’s Game seems to Dwindle under The Big Lights with Higher Stakes on The Line , simply Underachieving under Pressure where All of The Elements around Them then to actually Winning The Game is in Their Favor… Eddie was a Overall Winner everywhere He Played , and He also made those Teams Better even though at Times The Team’s Management didn’t give Eddie that Same Support Back…( I always thought that E.J. was a better Player & Fit for that Lakers Team that was on the Cusp of Greatness than that Immature at the time Black Mamba and The Machine that was behind Mamba even back then ) …Mr. Eddie Jones was a NBA Star that Maximized His Talents , Never Cheated The Fans and Thoroughly Navigated through The NBA’s Politics to keep His Legacy in Tact.. E.J. was a Real One!!!…💯🙏🏾✅

How about Jeff Hornacek in the 1990 Conference Finals against Portland?
@ForgottenPlayerProfiles3 күн бұрын
Funny you mention that one, I was actually planning to add that one but cut it out last minute for the baron davis series. Hornacek has a few slept on series so I'll make sure to get all of them in future episodes

I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American, male, and heterosexual. (all of this shows you where, when, and how I grew up, and what prism I view the world through) In 1996-97, Dale Ellis was with the Denver Nuggets, and after Bernie Bickerstaff resigned, Dick Motta took over. When Dale Ellis was asked about his good memories from his time with Dick Motta and Dallas, Ellis said, "I don't have any, to be honest." Intangibles: C.

Definitely some bad blood there
@UnappealingUndesirable4 күн бұрын
@@ForgottenPlayerProfiles I thought that Dale Ellis was bitter, because Dick Motta didn't play him more. For decades, I said, "Well, Mark Aguirre and Rolando Blackman weren't exactly stiffs, that he was playing behind." But, your great video, for the first time ever, gave me insight that Dick Motta talked some trash about Ellis before that playoff matchup. NOW it is indeed a "revenge" situation.

@@mattleary5714 You have. I'm a sports fan, and from my birth year, one can see why these throwback videos take me down memory lane. Also, we didn't have the internet back then, and since 1996, we were able to access information much more readily and easily. I'm not saying that all of my views are correct, but I definitely feel in position to give thoughts about sports happenings, from an era that I grew up in, and watched. And, being born in Seattle, definitely about Dale Ellis.

Eddie Jones got unlucky, missed getting a championship twice in his carreer, as the following year, Lakers won in 2000, and then Miami won in 2006

Is/are there any current/recent player(s) you believe you will make a video about? (ex. Seth Curry, Chris "Birdman" Anderson, Marc Gusol, and Spencer Dinwiddie)
