Craig Ehlo in game 5 of the 89 1st round series of Bulls vs Cavs. The game is remembered for “The Shot” but Craig Ehlo scored 15 points in the 4th quarter and gave the Cavs a chance to win putting them ahead 100-99 before Jordan’s shot. People only remember Ehlo as Jordan’s victim but Ehlo gave them a chance to win and you can’t suffer tragic defeat without reaching the doorstep of victory.

Jerome James of the Sonics had a great series vs Prime Tim Duncan in 2005 playoffs, got a big contact from Knicks that off-season, then went back to being a bum

Nick Van Exel’s 2003 playoff with the Mavs, as there 6th man, was the greatest basketball I’ve ever seen him play, even compared to his years as a starter for the Lakers during the mid to late 90s. He was unguardable. I honestly believe during that 2 year stint with Dallas, Nick was possibly in what should’ve been his ultimate ideal role in the NBA, as an unstoppable scorer off the bench. Like Lou Williams, Vinny Johnson, Ricky Pierce etc.
@ForgottenPlayerProfiles14 күн бұрын
Could definitely see him excelling in that role for a full career. Would have been crazy to have him coming off the bench during the Lakers dynasty
@Riles315213 күн бұрын
@@ForgottenPlayerProfiles He actually did come off the bench a little bit during the back end of the 97-98 season with the Lakers. Derek Fisher was the starter. If I'm not mistaken, he preferred to come off the bench and he actually played well in the role until the WCF against Utah.

The premise of this channel is great! Because of the .many Dynasties in the NBA, so many great ones are forgotten. Reliving these moments is great for me. I have always been a Laker Fan, I remember coveting so many of tbese players for our roster. Thank you so much

I had no idea the 05-06 Pistons went 64-18. Arguably the best 2000s pistons team, but….. no championship. Just like the 1973 68-14 Celtics. Nobody remembers them because they didn’t win the Chip, and everyone remembers the 1973 Knicks.

@ForgottenPlayerProfiles had a feeling you'd have done Redd. He seems like he'd be the prototype for the content you make. Also, on an unrelated note, would you ever consider doing Sam Bradford? I've never seen a QB on here, and I think he's a bit misunderstood as a player.
@ForgottenPlayerProfiles14 күн бұрын
@floydfanTN yeah Bradford is definitely a good candidate. I have done a couple qb videos though. If you check the "quarterback profiles" playlist, they'll be there
