Jett is the same way on the 450, he makes it look so smooth and easy. Lucas is going to be a champ.

Well at MXgp , there’s only 15 on the gate so he will have time to breathe and learn! Pass 5 and single digits! Same as mx2 hardly 20 on gates, same but it is what it is .

Forkner is 💯 going to Triumph but Ryno is no longer his trainer from what I understand. No big loss there.

I think he should stay in 250 one more year..he was 2nd this year and could win the Title next year... but i guess that was not important?? He is young enough to go back ..if that is allowed?? these age limits are stupid...we used to see guys racing any class .... i thought youth was more important than being old?? 😂 🇨🇦🤓✌️

Its a real head scratcher with Lucas Coenen, makes no sense! In terms of his career direction, massive risk, but then its something different, he would be one of the youngest if it is successful to make a move so early to the 450 level. There is some sense in learning off the best riders like Gasjer and Herlings! who probably aren't going to be around to much longer! The weird thing is what's happening in the paddock, between KTM Husqvarna GasGas, aside from the so called financial issues yet they are replacing one team with another! So Herlings is with Red Bull Factory KTM. Lucas Coeneon will be with De Carli KTM on a 450, which was the team Antonio Cairoli was with before his retirement and Prado before the team closed and he went to GasGas Factory racing, which is Italian based! They will field a 250 MX2 team also. These are separate teams! Its like Star was with Factory Yamaha a few years ago, little influence, how much who knows. The press release says: [Davide De Carli, Team Manager: “This is like ‘back to the future’ for us! It’s good to ‘return’ to KTM and to bring two strong structures together again. We have never stopped pushing for wins and podiums at the very highest point of the sport, regardless of the rider, but we have also helped the younger or more inexperienced racers find their way in GPs. It is a line we are excited and motivated to follow. We want to deliver more titles for KTM.”] Then you have Kay De Wolf 24 Mx2 champ 20years old, now the only rider left on the Husqvarna Nestaan Factory team, so he is staying or being kept in MX2 with the #1 plate, yet he has more experience, he is bigger and mostly likely to survive an MXGP season, Coenon isn't fully developed yet mentally or physically! But will be exciting to see what happens and especially to see what Sasha Coenon does and how they develop in comparison. Sasha still seemed to go backwards apart from starts, this year, whether he carried injuries' he seemed to lack conditioning! seems smaller than his Twin yet Lucas took major steps forward, though he was also injured in the early stages of the year with a wrist injury. But they will be separated by the classes, just interesting to see how that develops. Also I think Prado, will be watched by all 3 of these guys very carefully as he will be a bar they can gauge to some degree, though in his case he's still young enough but has developed allot of experience @ 23years old. And unlike what allot of people say with Viall, who never backed up his MX2 title (yes he won it twice, 2020, 22, but he did not back it up) Prado has 2 MX2 titles, 2 MXGP titles and he backed up both! Also we pretty much know both Coenen brothers and likely Wolf will come to the USA in 2026 and will go into the 250 class again to learn SX which is even weirder! The whole thing is weird but its also intriguing, so I guess that is exciting to watch how that plays out! But I do really think many underestimate how good these guys are, they will have to learn new tracks and culture if they come to the US, that does take some time.

De Carli never closed, they just switched to GasGas with Prado staying on the team. And Sacha didn’t go backwards he went forward this year, he won his first GP and then went back to back GP wins.

@@gildo101rossi Fair call he did do that and finished higher! still I expected him to be top 5, Lucas did finish ahead of him ion 23, but it appeared Sasha made a bigger splash where as in 24 it was the other way around, again apart from starts, he is a rocket off the line.
