Ted is the actual man he is literally doing it for exactly the right reason. I do Appreciate seeing him get some recognition because there are layers to this industry. And people like him get swept under the rug because he didn't pay enough money to be seen like the other guys. The actions should have been enough to get something more. I am going to miss that guy at the races he is a good ol boy.. Thanks for everything Ted & I appreciate the clearing up of things and the kind words truly means a ton..

Forkner - Past performance is a good indicator of future performance. He may win a race, but he won't finish a series. If Triumph hires him for $250,000 a year, with bonuses, they want to buy a win, not a title. That's an expensive win. Maybe they are willing to spend all that money hoping that a win will lead to sales: Win on Sunday, sell on Monday. I'm not sure that is true anymore, though.

Turns out he failed sound test. And I would guess it was probably a BS reason like the Matt Hammer situation at Southwick. Felt bad for the dude. I even remember seeing 924 on the track, his bike didn’t even sound that loud compared to Izaih Clark’s Bike. His was loud. Surprised he didn’t fail sound.

I used to be a member of SMDR. Great club. Back in the day we worked direct with Beasley (Budds track owner) to flag. The deal then was that we got 6 ride days where we were able to ride the track and connected harescramble course. It was awesome. We flagged amatuer day and the national as well as an MXGP or two. We took great pride in our flagging. We even had a club training course we went through to flag. We also had members with radios who went around the track and made sure everyone was in position like they should be. That all changed when MX Sports came along and changed the deal. They tried to do it on their own but it didn't quite work out. Now they have worked a deal with the club. Left the club when I moved away but miss riding with those guys.

Ted Parks is what this and all sports should be about. When I coached baseball the last thing on my mind was winning. I built up each kid/player individually, refining their skills and brining out their best but most importantly being an example of decency, respect and humility and teaching them to grow up to be good men. The natural outcome was success. Chris, keep at it. The respect will come as these assholes reveal themselves. Maybe a sneak video leaked of DC partying it up might rattle him up a bit.

Ok let’s get this str cooksey, Forkner did not I repeat did not have surgery for a brain bleed, the surgery was for a artriovenus malformation, in layman’s terms, a cluster of blood vessels were removed, if he had a brain bleed, the chances of survival are slim if you don’t get rushed for surgery, in a lot of cases people drop dead, he would of been one sick boy if he had a brain bleed, but he didn’t.

I’m all for guys getting theirs in this industry that chews riders up and spits them out without a second thought, BUT Mitch and PC have been the exception to that rule with how they’ve stood by AF despite his constant catastrophic accidents…and it’s because of that that I think it would be a really slimy move to jump over to Triumph just for some extra dough. Of course there could be things going on behind the scenes at PC regarding AF that we don’t know about that is forcing his hand. Also AF could just have some built up baggage with the brand after so much bad luck that he wants to get away from. But if it’s just the bigger pay day, I still say it’s slimy.

Why? As much as I’m a fan of PC. You’ll have to admit they have a horrendous record of pushing riders into emergency rooms, then the unemployment line. It’s not like when they were an upstart team in the days of Jeremy

Would the ama "proper" survive without rquired membership for the loretta's and freestone springs nats? Why is "ama proper" at SX with 3 18 wheeler rigs - estimated cost being around 1 million a year to get drivers, hotels, fuel and trucks on the road. As the american motorcyclist association - why aren't the on the side of the RIDERS and advocating for riders - that's their marketting pitch is it not. Why does mxsports even need ama pro racing? Obviously it's to appear impartial. Based off the gypsy interview - if mxsports indeed leases the rights to the outdoors - why won't he publish the contract? Transparency is honesty...
