does the 3L and 4L use the same build plates? and/or Resin pump?

As the 4L uses a diffent cartridge than the 3L, I would imagine that the resin pump isn't intercompatible between them.

No for both-The 4L Build Platform is larger, and the Resin Pump is also redesigned for the new Form 4/4L cartridge design.

Absolutely not. These people 100% know their stuff better than anyone else on the planet. They're making public one-way content where they need to be sure they are very precise in their wording (and they themselves likely didn't write it). Expecting them to memorize these things is just foolish as it both wastes time and is infinitely harder than the actual solution to what you're upset about, which is a teleprompter.
