Great to see Nick on here, I know this is a man that wouldn't burp mid-rep and fail a squat!

Not gonna lie I am a little surprised to hear an equipment suggestion regarding the movement and or rising of the heels from the floor on the squat video especially with the lifter being very very new to this. I wish that the advice to work on the ankle mobility was given prior to the equipment suggestion just for longevity reasons alone i would hate for this person to further facilitate any mobility issues or muscular imbalances that were/are at play here. Anyway im not the professional.... you guys are!!! I love everything you guys have been doing the past few years and i hope you all do very very well in the future!!!! I WISH YOU ALL NOTHING BUT LOVE POSITIVITY AND SUCCESS IN ALL OF YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS!!!!!!!! Thank you for doing what you do!!!

The funny thing is I made the changes Nick was talking about during the Christian's deadlift by just doing what felt best. I started out with the "ideal" sumo form: shins on rings, externally rotate the knees while you pull. But that just made me feel the lift was just balancing game where I used my upper body to pull. Bringing the stance a bit in and allowing for some internal rotation allowed me to get into better position, engage more of my posterior chain all the while alleviating some knee pain that arose after my deadlift session. I think everyone should keep an open mind about their technique and allow for some individuality within good reason. Love that you guys preach that through your vids!

about the case of lifter 2: what helped me for better back tightness was the “spread the bar” cue that is usually given for the bench

another point on lifter one, while the hook grip is most certainly causing that arm tension. He may be overly retracting to counteract a sketchy or inconsistent grip. Same way we tend to over tension the biceps when grip is feeling off, that excessive extension and retraction could be caused by the grip, orrr vice versa, the retraction is causing the extra arm tension.

Pardon if i missed it, but would you do a follow up version of this where a lifter submits a later lift with the corrections applied? Success Sunday or something to that effect

You frequently talk about scap & shoulder position in the deadlift. Instead of saying it, can you please demonstrate it. Also, you were discussing getting the suit to “bite” with equipped sumo deadlift. Would that be the same with equipped conventional deadlift? I ask that because you see the strongmen in a deadlift suit really squat down
