Formatting a USB Flash Drive as FAT with Master Boot Record

How to format a USB flash drive as FAT with MBR (Master Boot Record) when Boot Camp Assistant fails to automatically format your flash drive. The featured OS is OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), however, the procedure is similar for macOS Sierra.

For those who don't have the "menu" option, I found the answer... Where you go to partian, there should be a top folder and a sub folder (that has the name of your drive). Choose the top folder and hit erase. You will then find the option to change the scheme to master boot record.

@Sam Camera the same section you see partition, there should be an "erase" button. Click that and should see the options. if so, the process is an erase, not a partition because it will be done automatically
