I played it in July. It's brilliant. We played Formby in the morning, and the Ladies in the afternoon.

A few of the lads from our club visited Formby ladies & Wallasey in October as a substitute for our cancelled Portugal trip. We dropped on with the weather too! None of us had a bad word to say about Formby ladies, it was fantastic! Not wrong about that heather either, it’s some defence!!

I played both this July (the 11th, to be exact). Formby is great, the Ladies course is brilliant. As mentioned in the video, a course doesn't need length to be challenging.

The only ladies club with its own course? What about Sunningdale ladies before it became Sunningdale Heath?

It’s not the case today though. Changed in 2010 I think. Himalaya’s in St Andrews would be a close one though
