Totally. Burke's father was the ward committeeman of his ward. When Burke was young, he was a Chicago cop. He was assigned to the State's Attorney's Office (A position normally given to experienced detectives) so he could attend law school at night. He has held good government jobs from his youth onwards, and grown wealthy from his law practice. No reason to feel sorry for him - at all.
