I have never been in Amazon, but I do not think that working 10 hours is an abuse . Actually the abuse is let workers work for 4 hours and send them home. Because humans performance will drop down after 4 hours. Amazon’s workers income increased by more than 30% with compromised performance , it is not bad deal for many

Although you may think that working 10 hours is not an abuse, but forcing workers who are already under absolute pressure to make unrealistic quotas while increasing the chances of work place injury is the real abuse. Don't listen to what Amazon says but go work for them and see what it is that they do to you.

When you go to union representation, you are no longer covered under provincial labour laws but are held now to contract agreements and whatever rules your union agreed to with the company.

i cant even work 40 hours a week. 32 hour work week in 2024 should be standard.
