This family are friends of mine and he and Mary came to our church . They are the sweetest couple and when I first met them the kids only spoke Dutch. They now speak English. They moved about an hour away so I don’t see them as much but we share the same friends so I know I will see them agin. I remember the first day I met them he had just be saved about a month and it was fun watching them experience life with the freedom that comes with Christ. I am so glad you shared their story. He could have said so much more. He has quite the testimony.

I was born Muslim but me and sister were raised Catholic In Iran. But Praise The Lord my mother Nelli Ashtiany brought us in California 🇺🇸 USA 52 Years Ago So we could have freedoms of Choice. Now, we are Born Again.

It’s like this with every denomination. That’s why knowing God through the scriptures yourself is the MOST IMPORTANT thing! Jesus said that we should call no one else Teacher, Lord, Father! This is why He said it!

this testimony was wonderful, thank you so much. as someone born into modern society i've often daydreamed about leaving it all and living a more simple life in an amish community, but i never fully understood their beliefs. you just always see the modest clothing, the hard work, good food, and sense of community. if the god they bow down to is not the same loving father i've come to know then it's not the place for me. i'm stuck in apartment living for the time being, but i will be patient. god has me where he wants me for now and i won't go anywhere until he says it is time. i am content in what i have and do my best to raise my 4 young sons to know god. one day we will start our homestead, or maybe my children will instead. i just want to live a life that serves god properly.

Thank you so much to Vern and CBN for this testimony. I have a very disciplinarian father, and still struggle with the same exact thoughts you mentioned. I keep repenting but still feel unworthy. My parents have never showed loved and affection to me, and I often feel God is not happy with me. Please pray for me. Thank you again!!

Amish people are amazing people! I’m happy for this good hearted man, but it paints the Amish in a unjust negative light which isn’t quite fair. They are good folks, very kind, respectful, and peace loving.

Good works dont get you into heaven. Many people are good but blinded. The sad thing is The Amish church is leading their own flock astray. They also think they are morally and spiritually superior than you and I. They think they are better than you and I. But would not offer the branch of salvation to you? Its faux humbleness. Image is everything. Its like a corperation. Also I like the simple life. You dont need to be Amish to live like that. Tribal people that find Christ and live in a society more primative than Amish impress me more.

Do they Amish think that everyone else is going to hell besides them? Also they don't proselytize. Also image is everything. No mission work but will do benefit auctions which is recent. Its to strengthen the brand

You know you're saved? Beware the leaven of the Pharisees, sounds like the wickedness part; and I bet you'll NEVER hear that church's preacher pray even ONE TIME what Jesus told us to pray always. Remember colossians said Humbleness of Mind is one of the qualities of the ELECT of God :) Jesus said in Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
