Hey Winston, After all these years, finally getting a chance to say Thanks for the support & encouragement you gave me on my very first drumming gig with you and the Cipangos Band in 1968 on a Saturday night at Lee's Lounge in West Memphis, Arkansas. I was pretty nervous, but you and Charles Allen(trumpet) kept me pretty busy on that James Brown groove. Wishing you All The Best, Man !!!

He was a great keyboardist with the Bar-Kays from back in the day and also made special musical appearances with other fellow funk groups Chocolate Milk and Ebonee Webb. Most influences are Herbie Hancock, George Duke, Roger Troutman, Bernie Worrell, Kraftwerk, Sly Stone, Patrice Rushen.

@mr.lonniebooker3205..Yes sir you are on da money I love those 2 funk bands Chocolate Milk and Ebonne Webb heeey I have "Friction" and Ebonee Webb both on cds and it's now Jan.21-2023 and I listen to their music on the regular. I would love to know what is going on with the members of Ebonee Webb..are they still with us today and the lead singer was str8 🔥 love their sound. Now Chocolate Milk a few years ago was still doing shows. The iconic Larry Dobson is touring with his band and when you see his show..The Barking Bar-Kays are in full effect.👍🏼💯💯😎

To be a Black Funk Rock Soul Musician is really sad! In the 70's and Early 80's, The Bar-Kays bought a Groove that was second to none! Winston always had his own style! A unique gift! Does anyone really care about the Black Musician? They are on the same level as Mozart, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart and so many more. Its amazing how Hip Hop Culture took over ''Everything'' in Black Culture. You have to ''Bow'' down to them. Its now a Billion Dollar Industry, you have to kiss their ass in order to be down. Meanwhile, the booty that is stuck to the wall has no brain at all............Solid
