Seventeen years ago, I was at my lowest point, caught in the grips of crystal meth, heroin, and opium addiction. I was lost, feeling like I was on a never-ending spiral with no way out. But today, I stand before you, grateful to say that I’ve been sober for 17 years.
The journey wasn't easy-it was filled with countless challenges and moments where I didn't think I could make it. But with every step, I found strength in places I never thought possible. I learned to forgive myself, face my past, and embrace a future I never thought I could have.
Now, I wake up every day with a heart full of gratitude. I've rebuilt my life, surrounded by people who love and support me. I've found purpose and joy in the little things. I hope that by sharing my story, I can show others that recovery is possible, no matter how deep the darkness seems. My story is proof that it’s never too late to start over and that hope is always within reach.
