yes there's 12 members in loona. They take their dancing very seriously they said they watch back some of their performances and dance practices to make sure everything is timed perfectly. I cant wait until u get to their boy group covers of BTS- fire, NCT cherry bomb and got7 eclipse. They switch out members alot and then they come back with the entire group and the choreography looks unreal.

There are 12 members. Their Korean name is actually “girl of the month”, so...yeah! I hope you react to more, because yeah, they’re insanely good dancers, but they also have very good music!! They’re also super unique! I’m not sure if you know, but they had an 18 month predebut project where each girl debuted with a solo and a solo single album, and they had three subunits that debuted with a mini album each month as well. Two of the subunits had a “comeback” with a repackage that took its own months too!
@SashaMarie3 жыл бұрын
That name is so intelligent! Thank you so much for telling me about it. Their debut project sounds really intense, but also a wonderful way to get them ready for the industry, and to get fans ready for them! They had so much content and music before they even debuted as a group! That's crazy!
@maeganvillar76122 жыл бұрын
The members themselves goes into discussion while practicing to focus on details like angle of arms, positioning of their body parts like one arm in an angle covers one of their eyes and such they also help with formations, transitions and some part of the choreography especially the member choerry (purple hair in butterfly era)

LOONA's "Why Not?" choreography is also good in a different way. It's much more simpler than "Butterfly" but their synchronization are challenged in this choreo and honestly I love it so much. You can also watch their legendary dance covers, its also very good.

I agree with you, to get to this level of dance choreography, you either need to be 'super-human' or have team chemistry that is undeniable and lots of practice. I am here to say, Loona has both! Their bond, i think is their strong suit and their practice hours are pretty crazy - They don't quit until it's right! Loona has built a reputation as being a very solid dance group, so they always deliver on that note. Their are many Loona dance practice and dance cover videos available to review - And I GUARANTEE, you will not be disappointed at any of them - YES! THEY ARE THAT GOOD!

@@SashaMarie I am also a dance nerd 👍. They don't have a doc style video of their dance rehearsals/process as I am sure, they don't want to release their secrets/or how the magic is made (haha). A nice passionate reaction!

people might not like the infantilisation of the idols when they're called "boys" or "girls", bc depending on the group, at least half of the members would be in their early to mid 20s, or have only a few members who are still under 20 also, the infantilisation of east asians is a common thing in the west, and can be from a racially insensitive / microaggressive action to fully racist, depending on the context. they're not necessarily any younger than western celebrities in their 20s, who aren't called girls or boys in a western context, so why should they, if that makes sense this isnt to necessarily state that this was how you used it (although you should also look in yourself to see if it is racially motivated), bc im not a regular viewer of yours, but it might explain why people are particularly sensitive to anyone calling korean (or other east asian) idols with infantilising terms when they are (depending on the group) probably full grown adults
@SashaMarie3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and explanation. I understand where you're coming from, and how this could apply to what I've said in my videos. This will be something I continue to think about in the future. While personally, I don't think my use of the term/phrase is racially motivated, or intentional infantilization I do need to decide if it's more harmful to keep saying it despite my personal use of the term. I think this is an important discussion, and I'm glad you felt like you could participate in it with me. Thank you again.

It's so weird that people are nitpicking on you for calling them "girls" when they're literally a GIRL group, and you're a girl yourself. Also when groups like GIRLS Generation, GIRLS Day, Brave GIRLS, GIRL of the month exist. Even Boys Republic, The Boyz. People who dismiss the word "girl" and see it as less should change their viewpoint.
