Yes! When NCT Dream debuted, their average age was 15. Originally Dream was supposed to have a graduation system where once a member reached the Korean adult age (20) they would graduate and no longer be part of the group and move on to NCT U or other subunits. Mark was the first one to “graduate” but then SM changed it recently so that Dream can keep its members but also bring new members as a rotational group. Correct me if I’m wrong!

I think they will stay with 7 members, but have it also as a rotational group with the 7 members.

Oh my gosh, they were babies!!! That's such a cool idea for a group, even if it has evolved into something else over time. Thank you so much for the information!

Yes they are still releasing music! They're actually having a comeback in April. I think you should react to their comebacks in order because you can see their progression. 1. My First and Last 2. We young 3. Go 4. We go up 5. Boom 6. Ridin' These are just their Title tracks, you should definitely check out their live performances of their b-sides as well because they're amazing! Thank you so much for reacting :)

The members of NCT-Dream are actually even more impressive with those hoverboards then what you saw. They spent a while working with them and building up their skills. You should see some of the tricks they can do on them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4OpZqZ_ZbJ_jc0 Check out this video that shows just how skilled they are with a hoverboard. If you think this choreography was cool, just wait until you see their tricks. They can even ride two hoverboards at the same time, with one foot on each board and do handstands on them, etc. "Chewing Gum" is NCT-Dream's debut song, so you are right, they are very young in this MV. Mark is the oldest at 17, so he is the"leader" of this sub-unit and Jisung is the youngest at 14. NCT-Dream includes Mark (17), RenJun, (16), Jeno (16), Haechan (16), Jaemin -- in red (16), Chenle (15) and Jisung (14). SM originally created this sub-unit with the idea that If they had a trainee that they felt was ready to debut even though they were really young, they would start out as a member of NCT-Dream. They were the cute babies of the group who were learning the ropes and honing their skills because they are young, but they are also some of the most talented because they debuted way sooner than a lot of trainees. Jisung is the one that has the solo dance break. He is the main dancer of NCT-Dream and one of the best dancers in NCT. He is actually known for his popping and locking skills and for the fact that he is sort of a mini Taemin, who is a member of SHINee and the best dancer in the industry. Jisung pretty much took the exact same path as an SM trainee as Taemin did -- Taemin debuted about 8 years before NCT and he is about 9 years older then Jisung -- and Taemin says he sees a lot of his younger self in Jisung. Both Jisung and Taemin became trainees with SM around age 11 and they both debuted at age 14, they both have similar dancing styles and they both pretty much sacrificed their childhood to become an Idol, etc. Taemin is an Idol of Idols and Jisung looks up to him. Fun fact: Although Mark is young here, he is the same age in NCT-U's "The 7th Sense" and in NCT-127's "Fire Truck." All three of these songs and MVs came out within a couple of months of each other. But because of the different concepts and styles of the songs, you get a chance to see how versatile Mark really is as an artist and how he can embrace all sides of himself. As you saw with "Chewing Gum," they started out with a very young and cute concept that fit the fact that they were all young teenagers. But over the years their style and concept has grown and evolved like the members of the group. The whole point of the song and the concept of the group is to appeal to fans in their age group. Kpop is full of young groups who are trying to appeal to an older, more mature audience. So I think SM Entertainment was pretty clever to created this sub-unit as a way to appeal to a younger demographic. Why not market music to a younger audience? I think it's kind of refreshing that SM decided to start NCT-Dream out with more of a family-friendly concept because all the members were actually still children. NCT was created as part of SM's plan to achieve global domination and one of the ways the company plans to accomplish that is to make music that reaches all types of fans all over the world, including younger fans. As you go along and see some of NCT-Dream's more recent material, you will see and heard how their style as grown and changed over time. That is also part of the group's concept. As the members grow and mature so to does there sound and style. SM's no dummy when it comes to creating groups that gain global popularity. It just goes to show you why its one of the Big 3 entertainment companies in the world. :D Instead of creating a group with a sound and style like everyone else, why not do something a little different? This was a great concept for a debut. By keeping their style and sound young, light and fun, NCT-Dream became popular because they were different then all the other groups that were out there at the time. Fans appreciated them for the fact that they embraced their age and didn't try to act and sound older than they were.

Hi! Thank you so much for your comment. Please know I did take the time to read the entire thing, but might not hit every point in my response. I really appreciate comments like this because they allow me to learn so much about these groups from their fans! It's a great way to connect to the group and the people who support them. I do really like the concept of a younger group trying to appeal to audiences of similar age. I think that's incredibly smart, and I love watching a group grow or mature through their music and their sound. Jisung sounds like a very talented person. His potential just from this video alone jumped off the screen. I can't wait to see more from him, and see how his talent grew. Thank you so much for your comment and the information! I really appreciate it. I hope you'll come back and watch more of my NCT reactions in the future. :)

Thank you for the reaction! You can see Dream talking about the hoverboard choreo on the Weekly Idol show at kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3qXlmpro5KLirc starting from 50:31 Unfortunately, Jisung, the one who did the popping solo in Chewing Gum, couldn't join them for the show, but if you want to see him leading the whole NCT pack of 18 members in 2018, you should watch Black on Black kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3S8eWd8ZrB2rZo He's leading when they get to the V formation! 😀
