10000% that’s the first thought I had is that he let him inside the house for content. He knew it would be good on camera, and that’s why he was so reluctant to put the camera down. If a guy that was that unstable came to the sober living house I was at before he wouldn’t have ever made it in the front door. And if he somehow did make it in he’d never make it past the office and the managers. The absolute last thing recovering addicts need is some nether up crazy guy coming inside what they perceive as a safe, stable environment and scaring the shit out of everyone there. The guys I lived with could get in a huge argument over the dishes after dinner. We didn’t need any extra fuel on that fire 😂

@@talbotdorr682 I will say this.. this didn’t take place at the sober living house. This took place at his own personal house. But I do agree that he continued to film possibly for content but at the same time.. he was filming alrdy before he even Showed up. So what he was filming before he showed up was no where near as interesting as what he continued to film after.. so why stop filming 🤷🏻‍♀️ and if something had popped off.. he wld have proof cause he was filming. So rly based off Zander’s energy its likely he knew from the moment he realized Zander was there he knew he needed to 💯 continue to film everything. And as he most likely predicted he got something worth posting. And also it’s drama 🤷🏻‍♀️ drama gets more views so why not.. it’s his house he can film if he wants 😂 💅🏻 js..

@@jakespencer431 mainly alcohol but I think he dabbled in pills like oxy’s and benzos but never got really bad as a long term thing with the opioids and Benzos, rather more a bender type opioid user going off what he said in videos, he wasn’t slamming or doing hundreds of milligrams of oxy every day or anything to that severity. I think alcohol was his DOC and his main problem, I guess I am judging but I don’t think he got very deep into opioids/pills, seems more like he used it recreationally in a kinda party context in his early use with alcohol being center stage.

@nickcarlson7735
@nickcarlson7735 2 жыл бұрын
This is obviously staged though. First off there’s no way that Patrick started recording literally 30 or so seconds Before Zander shows up. Also you can tell because at the beginning (1:40), Patrick randomly starts to say that you never know whose gonna show up. And then boom Zander “randomly” shows up. Last thing that gives it away is that, if it were real, Patrick would have shown Zander “trying to fight him” and “throwing his cigarette at him” because he made the mistake of showing us he had a camera showing the front door. I guess I could see how it would be kinda hard to tell its fake though if you missed that part. Due to the fact it definitely wasn’t scripted. They just made it up as they went along so it seemed more realistic than if it was all scripted

Patrick is right. These 2 scenarios are different so they can’t be compared. One is a kidnapped girl and another is an angry-paranoid addict who seemed aggressive and cocky but he did not threaten harm. The kidnapper deserved immediate physical intervention. The paranoid addict deserved to be addressed firmly and clearly giving boundaries and limited interaction based on his behavior. If the guy who walked in was addressed physically, all hell would have broken out and somebody would have gotten hurt and property would have been damaged ….and police would have definitely been called.

Oleg is making an excellent point that most of us westerners don't understand. I fully get what Pat was saying. On the other hand my family is Scandinavian and get the point Oleg is trying to articulate.

you did the right thing, Pat, and 100% agree with you. Xander could have reacted in a very dangerous manner. he was clearly psychotic and a tragedy could have happened if you didn't keep your cool. mad props to you!

I agree Pat. I know without a doubt I'd help anyone, and go to the extreme to help someone in danger. No question about it.

It absolutely blows my mind how unprofessional all of this was. I have struggled with addiction a majority of my life, have a Diploma in Mental Health and am fully aware that i don't know shit. Whilst this lot waltz around behaving like they're life Gurus at the same time as talking like high-school kids. It's incredibly bizarre. They need at least 2 professionally trained psychologists in that house at all times with the amount of incredibly unwell people roaming around in there.

Hey Patrick if you see this I would like some help. Everything is spiraling out of control. I would like some help before it's too far gone. There's no one to ask for help over here. I don't have a vehicle anymore and no job. It's a weird place to be. But I want to be sober. I don't want my life to turn dark anymore. I don't want to be homeless. I don't want to drink. I don't want to smoke. I don't want to take pills. I don't want to feel bad anymore.

I said a long time ago. Whatever you're doing you need to keep the sober house and your home life separated. As for your wife being pregnant and lets say someone could just have a bad day. Then brings fentanyl into your home unknowingly. You could all O.D. from the substance being air born. Then this type of situation. Whats more important. The camera or your family. I understand helping people but there needs to be boundaries. None of your sober living people staff or not is capable of 100% trust. That should go without saying. Because everyone is equally capable of falling off the next day. I just joined a recovery coach group not too long ago. So the day i arrived there a person who was a counselor had taken medical record information that was on a laptop. This person as most who work in recovery normally are recovering addicts. It just takes ah split second Patrick to fire that very small fuse we all have and make a mistake you'll regret for life. Clients,staff ,you all need their own places in separate roles. All the things from home life should be separated from the dangers that come with this job title. You said you would stop that person in another country from getting kidnapped. Wrong thing at that time to talk about. It's we need to now focus on getting my wife, myself and everyone else safe because that was obviously a shady situation. In which i will reiterate Patrick which in the first place have no place in your personal life without boundaries.

Yes yes yes!!!! I completely agree with you! It depends on the situation & honestly how bad ass you have to be In certain situations. I get that the Ukraine is fucked up and prob more raw than a lot of towns in the U.S. but it still is completely situational. If you pulled up on everyone trying to fight you’d be a dick. So Patrick I completely agree with how you acted & reacted!! You live with a revolving door of addicts in different phases of recovery so it’s not surprising! Y’all handled it well though!
