As a fly loving animal lover, I prefer stealth whacking 2 gaurds with 1 Cane. Boggles my mind that people can know the games glitchs and exploits so well they can beat it in only 6 and a half hours, that is shorter then a Cod Campaign! I came here after seeing it's Neon master sly 1 and then do sly 2.

I found the quick kill on general tso by accident when I was playing the other day. For those who dont know, there's a small time frame where you can "stealth" kill him because he's on the ground. And it instakills.

Are soundlocks really that common? In my many years of playing the 3 games I've only soundlocked twice, and both in Sly 2. I'm guessing the skips or tricks make the game slightly more unstable. Also, what the heck was that at 35:43? Some dialogue skip?

Soundlocks are speculated to be related to the system's loading speed, so if that's correct, using an SSD increases the chance of soundlocking. That being said, 2 soundlocks in one run is insane. Especially within 1h, like in this run. I'd say I soundlock once every 10-15 runs. This was a fresh install (didn't have NTSC Sly 3 so had to buy + download + install it first) so there might be something minor that causes it as well. Soundlocks also happens on PS2 but is extremely rare. Much more common on a "regular" PS3, and even more common when using an SSD. At 35:43 there are some triggers overlapping, so running back and forth like that will skip some dialogue.

Most of my friends who like sly never really liked sly 1 it was always either 4 or 3 for most liked, it was always a tie between 2 and 3 for me

During the second Tsao fight i managed to execute him like a regular guard and saved like 3/4 of the time fighting him. It was after a push attack and idk how to replicate it lol and i also don’t know if other people already do this or not.

Haha yeah the fight is a bit weird like that. It's easy with knockout dive but also works with push attack if comboed with his red magic attack-thing.
