Most successful people always seek the ideas and experience of financial professionals that help tackle issues on wealth management and growth but claim to attain their success alone. Look at what the world has come to, if u exploit / trick someone for a $100, u'll be arrested. Here are these shameless rich buggers claiming on record that they exploited millions and they are celebrated!. If they do something substantial to mitigate and rectify their mistakes they can left free or even awarded, but if they fail they must be punished as they were responsible as they claim in the video for what social media has become today

Jennifer, the hosts shouldn't be anywhere near the pool because they can't SWIM. In this case the tank is devoid of water never mind sharks. WHY do shows like this ask experts like Chamath to come on, who do this for a living - 24/7 - at the toughest highest levels of business.... if they can't even be BOTHERED to do their research? AND WORSE? They're covering all of this each week in and out anyway? THEY SHOULDN'T BE GETTING THIS WRONG in the first place!! Another interview where in NO TIME at all they've exposed WHY he's in HIS JOB.... and they're in THEIR JOB. I see no contradiction between the two parts of your comment. If you're 25-30 or older, you were _allowed_ to do the thing of your day - you didn't have to ask. Palihapitiya's children need _permission_ to do the thing; they live under someone's _control_.

@@smorrow You see no contradiction because you are reading Nina's statement through your perspective. It is not about permission. It's about the psychological growth and knowledge acquired by unobstructed human interaction. Human interaction in its raw form. Human to human. Nina is speaking of how they don't realize what was happening to them while they grew up even though they reaped the benefits of human to human interaction but they themselves dont realize how profound that was and instrumental in the development as young people. So it is ironic that they dont realize the benefits of how they were raised and they find it weird that CP is not allowing his children to avoid that kind of growth.

I’m so glad my 1st introduction to Chamath was his Standford Graduate talk. That was the best interview, because not only did the interviewer let him speak uninterrupted, but she knew when to ask questions & let him answer. They really tried to take his FB comments outnof context hoping he’d walk it back. It is SO EXTREMELY rare to have a person with his knowledge & socioeconomic level give such transparent FREE high quality info.

Vini C Elon has a vision, apple doesnt. You can look at their spending and see if they are targeting something or not. If the biggest spending you did is on your campus building, like they said, you probably dont have a grand revolutionary vision. And he is right too, they dont want to have a radical vision cause of how close to Steve jobs the brand is right now.

18:50 "Bitcoin will be $100K in 3-4 years." 3-4 years later, 1 bitcoin went up from $20K to $23K. January 2021, due to increased popularity given media coverage, it's gone up as high as $40K, settling around $30K. So not even close to $100K but still a substantial increase which makes it a great long term investment (10+ years).

Saw him on the World Series of Poker getting deep in the 10k buy in Main Event years ago on ESPN. Awesome to see him articulate his thoughts on things he has tons of experience on and that are major talking points of society today. Conversations like this is going to help society in many ways, older adults in like their 30s and older are more ok in regards to social media, the real Conversation should be had with kids that think cringy TikTok influencers are like gods and will grow up with far less needed human and life skills people who were born in the 80s and early 90s and before grew up with to help them succeed/ have 'normal' lives. Much love from the Bay Area, let's go Warriors!!!
