This is a FASCINATING episode! Also, on the topic of staying vigilant. Ladies, especially- LISTEN up- when you are walking in a parking lot - day or night use the vehicles as a mirror. The daylight or street lights reflect on cars and you can use the cars in front of you as a mirror to see if someone is following you! If you leave a store or a mall and you even get any hint someone is following you- get back into the store. Find another woman or a manager to walk you to your car!! Also- if you come out of a store and a van with sliding doors is parked close to your driver side- get in the passenger side. If you have kids with you- ALL of you get in the same side. ALWAYS lock your doors the instant you get into your car! Also practicing pepper spray is a genius idea. I once did it and had a gust of wind blow it back in my face. Make sure there’s no wind.

Brian Laundrie's parents deserve every financial and social misfortune that is befalling them and which will befall them in the future no doubt. I'm glad that Gabby's family hasn't allowed the naysayers to talk them into doing anything they don't want to do. I hope they see this through to the very end and don't settle. I agree with Jen, this isn't about the money and it never was and that is why I hope they aren't talked into settling with these wretched people.

As a Houstonian it’s so interesting to hear about Jennifer’s work with cartels and fugitives here. The city is rife with crime in general and it’s gotten to the point where I never feel safe leaving my house. People will rob you in broad daylight, traffic is nuts and people frequently are shot or run off the road in road rage incidents. I’ve personally been robbed at gunpoint, followed to my job, and physically assaulted and threatened working as a bartender/server. Also very interesting learning that the Houston SWAT is an enhanced team and hearing about her experience as a woman in the industry. When she was talking about the cartel operation they worked at the Cuban restaurant, I wonder if she was talking about Brenda’s Taqueria. I think it’s Mexican not Columbian but a lot of Colombians frequent one particular location in South Houston that was raided several years ago and everyone in the entire place was arrested. They were open 24/7 and were a common spot for drug dealing and selling alcohol after hours. That one may have been an ATF/TABC case though. I’m sure there’s been many more similar incidents.

2:08:09 listening to her dissect the psychology during the course of the attack and the personality is as equally riveting as it is disturbing. I have chills listening to this. Im brought to tears thinking of the terror and evil that played out that night. That Kaylee was there that night at the spur of the moment. That Ethan and Xana may have been witnesses and viewed as collateral. To think that Maddie may have been targeted, innocent and unbeknownst to her. My heart absolutely shatters for these families and communities affected 💔 may their souls rest in peace and their legacy change lives and continues to live on. We will never forget them 🙏🏼
