New Port Richey has been attacked over and over for six years that I know from people setting objects in the places that have the highest probability of hurting/killing people . I did my best to stop it by reporting it to several police and patroling the streets. I caught one attacker red handed setting cigarette lighters and I attempted to arrest him and he ran from a citizen arrest. When the police showed up they told me to stay away from him because he was dangerous and I might be charged with false imprisonment ! There has been a break in the attacks for several months as far as I can tell after another attacker moved away. I can't explain how new Port Richey police could be so terrible at solving such serious crimes that have hurt so many people. A cop told me to get a better lite on my bike the other day, so maybe that cop cares for public safety, but I have to ask the police over and over to get a street sweeper to clean the dangerous debris of the road and shoulder ,
