Doesn't work like that. There are no qualification or experience requirements to do any job in government. The prime minister can appoint anyone he likes, for any reason he likes into a particular ministerial role. So the fact she has no economic qualifications or experience are not grounds to sack her or undo any of her decisions or work. Had there been a job requirement that the chancellor must have a degree in economics or accountancy, and the person did not have the required qualification, then possibly you can undo the decisions they made, as you can argue they did not make the right decision because they did not have the knowledge to make the right decision. Technically the Linked In profile is not a CV. She doesn't print off the Linked In profile and hand that to a prospective employer as part of the recruitment process. You don't apply in the usual way for a job as an MP (or minister). To be an MP you are elected by the public. Second, there are zero qualification requirements and zero work experience requirements to be a minister or chancellor. So it is highly unlikely this is an offence and almost certain that no criminal police investigation will commence. This is simply down to an issue of trust, honesty and whether Starmer wants to sack her for it. He won't. He will try to ride it out. Even if there is a criminal offence here, which I doubt, there is no way the Police are going after a government minister in such a senior role, one down from the prime minister. And do you not really think Starmer would intervene to stop them?

Also had her Parliamentary credit card suspended when Parliamentary Standards Authority found she had just over £4k in unsubstantiated spending. Amongst some of the [preesumably legitimate] expense claims she has filed over the years includes £1.2k for professionals to help filling in her tax returns...
