Exactly why i found my own private spot to train in the national forest where i live. Range safety may get you killed and at the very least limit your abilities. Gunfighting, and make no mistake, that's what you're training for is dangerous. If you take all the danger out then it's not dangerous, ergo not gunfighting. I still employ tactical safety as much as possible in my training but I don't think I could ever go to a class with others and super range safety rules. Just me, not everyone's jam.

Huh? Depends on which kind of scenario you train for. I would stay with GWOT stuff because it was a „civil“ surrounding and not military conflict with equipment and threats I hopefully never will see against me.
