His heart has definitely turned black. Curious how his people are taking it since his last speach. He talks about cleansing and that can’t be accepted. He’s just one man and the world distrusts him more than ever. He chose evil opposed to humanity. The world does not accept and will not. He can’t win playing the fear card. It’s really so incredibly insane because he’s an intelligent man. Well it doesn’t look like that now. His troops coming back home. They died. He’s eliminating anything that doesn’t believe in what he does. He’s threatening the world and that’s something we need to join together on. The fact he’s turning on his own people. It's shameful how zelensky mis being used to gather votes for Emmanuel macron in France , Boris Johnson on London, the democrats in America, and other failed governments who almost killed Thier citizens in the name od COVID lockdown, now will be re- elected in the name of standing against the so called demon Putin after they almost killed Thier citizens with unnecessary lockdown rules and regulations while they partied themselves. Lady, don't say "THE Ukraine". If you are a professional, you will know why that use of the word "The" is an insult to Ukrainians
@Coach_Brian
@Coach_Brian 2 жыл бұрын
To be fair the sentence was "the Duma had passed legislation to recognize *those parts of, of the Ukraine as separate entities*" The "the" is tied to the plurality in the sentence. You can still say that without meaning "THE Ukraine" At most, it could be redundant- but in this case, it's not grammatically wrong. Like saying "parts of the United States" "Parts of United States" sounds, and is - wrong. Basically "there's fighting on the Ukraine border" or "there's fighting on Ukraine's border" are perfectly fine.
@fassolhermani5984
@fassolhermani5984 2 жыл бұрын
@@Coach_Brian 'the' is used before an adjective or plural when talking about proper nouns like the United States, the Hebrides, the Russian federation or the United Kingdom, in this case United and russian are adjectives, and Hebrides are plural (it's an archipelago). You wouldn't say 'those parts of the Russia as separate entities or, those parts of the America, the england... This misnomer comes from the fact that ukraine used to be known as the Ukrainian SSR. I disagree that it's a big insult. Most Ukrainians barely understand the concept of the article 'the'.

It seems pretty easy to see that Putin is only interested in Ukraine in so far as he has to pass thru it to get to the rest of the territories that the Soviet Union used to control. Re: Putin's motives. He knows that he can never defeat the West. But the closest he could come to defeating the West is to have a nuclear war, one that will destroy most of the West, and most of the East, but he just might survive, and be hailed as the champion or Russia. Further, even if he didn't survive, he considers he will go down in history as the champion of Russia. This IS his off-ramp. At his age, after his years of struggle as a leader, a nuclear war serves as his swan song, and he is singing it to himself as the West tries to figure out what he is "thinking." This motive makes bombing of hospitals and schools and humanitarian routes irrelevant to Putin, since the final result makes all of those just unimportant, if not moot points along the way to the massive destruction contemplated, accepted, and/or even hoped for. This ugly motive is of course deniable, but I say it is his intention, and that he is perfectly willing to risk it all in order to have this big "win" as part of his legacy. NATO, and the rest of world leaders should acknowledge this, brainstorm it, and prepare accordingly.

If nuclear war starts, there's wouldn't be history anymore, only nuclear winter for centuries, and if somehow some very few human would survive that, they will be back to the stone age. When finally a new civilization will start there would be nothing and no one that could even mention Putin's name.

I'll put it to you like this. Long ago, Vladimir Putin used The KGB as a way out of the brutal poverty he grew up in. But then The KGB used him and groomed him into an assassin on a geopolitical scale. This is what we are seeing here with him, and the best solution is to fight fire with fire. In other words, sending enough dead Russian soldiers home with their heads removed from their bodies, and will send a serious message that coming to Ukraine will have extremely severe consequences. This will not only frighten Russia's soldiers to the marrow of their bones but also really anger the families of those dead soldiers when they receive a body bag minus their family members' heads. Introduce Russia to a modern-day version of Vlad The Impaler.

Pootin is making a fool of his own army. I'd not be surprised if they finally get enough of him. C'mon even the airforce pilots get only half of the training that juniors get in NATO. And they are not taught how to do land/air missions are supposed to be performed... I'd probably not enjoy a ballet organised by the Russian military. Apart from the fact that the performers would not be armed (usually).
